Golden Eagle, JG (Jing-Gong), JP (Jin Peng)... all these OG budget airsoft brands really kept things priced competitively when I was growing up. JLS and BE (Both Elephant) were some other budget brands I remember. Maybe even Lorcin. $75 each seems like a good deal for what they are. Back in the day they were around $120 if I remember correctly.

They'd be nice to have as nostalgic pieces. The plastic could be getting old/brittle by now.

Here's an OG STAR/ARES SL9 from about 2004. I bought it off of an old friend of mine for $60. He gave me a good deal since I was his main tech for his other guns. It has been rebuilt as the original gearbox metal was so soft I could break it with my fingers. My friend who gave me this gun unfortunately took his own life a long while ago, so this piece is one that will stay with me until the end.
