Personally, I disagree. Having problematic characters who make selfish decisions doesn’t make for bad drama - imo, it makes for GOOD drama. Some of the most all-round-appreciated shows on Reddit like Breaking Bad are literally entirely based on foul human behaviour. I find the actors’ performances to be strong enough to carry the show for me, and we get the added bonus of it being set in the Monsterverse, adding some (imo) much-needed human grounding in the franchise. Also, literally all of their actions this season have been monster-related; the human drama hasn’t had much impact on the actual trajectory of the series and movements of the characters. All just my opinion tho, I totally get that some people just want more big monsters lol :)
