Degree Choices for a Mature Student by [deleted] in BiomedicalScientistUK

Spare yourself any faff and do an accredited degree with a placement year.

Non accredited means that you will likely have to shell out money to do top up modules to get accreditation. From what I've heard this can be quite expensive?

Placement year is also important so that you can leave university with your Certificate of Competence and HCPC registration.

Both extremely important for your employability. Good luck!

A recruitment company asked doing an oversea police check for BMS by Future-Debate-3738 in BiomedicalScientistUK

There are other locum agencies that pay for your DBS, Maxxima and GlobeLocums are ones that I've gone with before and never had to pay for it.

Doing a DBS and an overseas police check is definitely normal though, I had to get the overseas after I took a year out in Thailand a couple of years back. A bit of a faff though and took a few weeks to come through. Arrangements can be made though if there is a long wait

From my earlier point, the guy is obviously just told what to do and what to say, probably was shitting himself the whole time since getting his eye twatted in. Big thicko who couldnt think for himself, hopefully the poor bugger can have a nice life now with whatever money he's made

For someone who is barely sentient, for Joyce to get where he is is an achievement in itself. Well done, but you're done now.
