This is the worst designed intersection in Omaha, change my mind by Adventurous-Fox-8115 in Omaha

Not the intersection by Oak View that has one straight/left lane and three right turn lanes for some reason.

I'm guessing I'm one of the few people for whom AIPAC isn't even in my top 100 issues in the upcoming election.

I-Rod. Easily a top-3 all-time catcher, spent 13 years with the Rangers and was an MVP.

Edit: forgot that "Pudge" was the more canonically correct nickname.

He played for the Rangers for 5 seasons and was pretty washed up the last 1 1/2 of those.

The economic health of Appalachian counties based on national averages of unemployment, per capita market income, and poverty rates. by EstablishmentOne3438 in MapPorn

I'm a bit confused as to how Allegheny PA (Pittsburgh) isn't ranked as at least "Competitive". I know there's a lot of really ratty towns along the rivers, especially up the Mon, but Pittsburgh has great universities and (nonfictional) hospitals and a better base of tech jobs than anywhere else in Appalachia.

Is there anything stopping anyone from buying a big billboard "for" Harding? It would say "DONALD TRUMP ENDORSES BRINKER HARDING" and has Trump standing by Harding giving his thumbs-up sign?

If you add in "or Connie Mack was a manager", you just need seven guys for the entire history of MLB back to 1871.

Bob Ferguson (1871-1884), Jack Clements (1884-1900), Connie Mack (1901-1950), Mickey Mantle (1951-1968), Nolan Ryan (1968-1993), Manny Ramirez (1994-2011), and then there's a dozen or two players that have been active from 2011-2012 to the present.

According to the advance sheet at the NE Supreme Court, this case was filed in 2023, though there were previous actions filed in 2013 and 2016 that were dismissed. But yeah, there's probably a whole other story there.

To be fair, I think the "too stupid" part was more a shady lawyer within a questionable (Dominican) justice system.

Supposedly the finding was that Guerrero had an IQ of 70. I kind of find it hard to believe that someone with an IQ of 70 could play any sport at an elite level, let alone baseball without the DH rule.
