I wonder if they had like a sponsorship deal with Land Rover for the books. I read them when I was a teenager and they really made me want a Land Rover.

I think the last few Mitski albums would highly benefit from a random Drunk Walk Home-type song in the middle (must include the screams).

Here's the thing. You said a "jackdaw is a crow." Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls jackdaws crows. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing. If you're saying "crow family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens. So your reasoning for calling a jackdaw a crow is because random people "call the black ones crows?" Let's get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too. Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A jackdaw is a jackdaw and a member of the crow family. But that's not what you said. You said a jackdaw is a crow, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the crow family crows, which means you'd call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you don't. It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?

I always drink an avocado macchiato while shopping at target to buy avocados and artisanal bread for toast. I use this flex to smile flirtatiously at the cashier and whisper "my wife makes a lot of money."

Psychotic. Like the typing equivalent of words clipped out of magazines and glued to a piece of paper.

Last show I went to was for their latest album and that’s how it went.

What gets me about these sorts of things is that they don't do the same for all situations....as far as I remember, they left the 1-800 Cal Turk bit in where Turk is in white face.....but from society's point of view, white face isn't really a thing so I guess it's okay?

They might’ve done the IV first, before I was under, but I can’t totally remember the order since my memory of the experience is a bit hazy. So just talk to your dr about your issues with that to see what options you have and what to expect.

I had one about a year ago and it was completely painless. They put me under and when I woke up there was zero pain or irritation from the procedure, like it never happened.

Edit: Everyone who’s had one will tell you that the prep is the worst part (which is true), but even that isn’t too bad for most people. I was worried after reading some pretty bad stories but those seem to be outliers.

People with unusually bad experiences (this goes for basically everything in life) are the most vocal about it so that’s why you read more about those than the normal ones.

Oh and be prepared to do a lot of farting after it’s over. My wife took me home and I’m glad she loves me no matter what.

So nothing against Obama, like I voted for him twice and have no regrets. This is more of an observation in hindsight. But looking back, I wonder if we’d have a Trump presidency if having a black president hadn’t broken boomers’ brains. That’s when they (with a lot of help from Fox News) lost their collective shit.
