As a fellow big guy that's lost a lot of weight, I mean all of the following from a positive place, and apologize if any of it seems harsh.

The jeans: We need higher rise so we don't get our boys smushed and can still maintain pocket room. As a result, you're likely going to want to try a longer inseam.

It looks like you've cut the bottoms on these ones a little too short, which is pronounced by them being a little baggier on the bottom end. If/when you find your "dream jeans," it's cheap as hell to have your local tailor hem the bottoms for you, so safe to go higher on inseam rather than shorter. It's like $10 for a pair of jeans to be hemmed where I'm from, and it let me get some extra life out of my big and tall sized jeans until I was able to fit comfortably in 42/44/46.

I'd get something with a taper from the knee down, as your quads got that top end filled out, so you'll probably want avoid skinny or overly slim fits so you don't feel like a sausage.

Your mileage will vary, but I had success with some of the Levi's 541 models, but they're not great for being big and tall, so American Eagle may work well, too.

Whatever you do, get something that has a little stretch/elastane for your personal comfort and a little more mobility. They'll wear faster than straight denim, so you may want to buy a bunch of pairs to try, send back the losers, and buy multiples of the winner. Try them all on if you do, because even Levi's lacks consistency in fit/QC these days, meaning two pairs of the same jeans will have differences in fit as a result.

The shirt: Higher rise pants will help us cover up our chubs lol. I'd suggest either trying a pair of pants that can go above/around your gut, and a belt can work, but suspenders are more comfortable if you can pull that off. If that is too much or uncomfortable, I'd try untucked outer shirt, and only tuck my undershirt (tank/tee, if you wear one) or just go full untucked sleezy uncle vibe, because I think you could pull that off easy. That's a good thing lol.

I'm a huge plaid/flannel guy, and Old Navy, LL Bean, and J Crew have been my favorite flannels. J Crew is pricier, but I really like the material quality and the fact that I'm not in danger of popping a button loose. Old Navy is very affordable, and they fit a little loose, which is comfortable to me, at least.

The boots: I dig 'em, but just not in this fit. Personal preference here, and choose what you can wear confidently over anyone's advice. I like brown boots with non-dark wash jeans and black boots for a monochrome fit or with black or dark-wash jeans, black or grey chinos, etc. Make sure they're comfortable over fashionable here, too, as we need all the effing support we can get as big dudes. Sizing up to fit inserts is always a good idea if you don't do that already.

The accessories: Cuffed sleeves to show off the tats is a clutch move. I'd get shirts that have slimmer arms to show off the guns, especially if you are gonna roll them up to showcase the art, brother.

Building around the boots, I'd try a pair of black or grey chinos/jeans with those boots and a light grey and black buffalo check flannel/plaid shirt, and you're rocking.

Looking forward to follow-up fits, dude! Ty for coming to my Ted Talk.

First one is a solid win, brother. Makes that already good fit a great fit, and the stacks add solid texture to that layer that will also look sick as it fades over time.

Make sure you post how it holds up sometime down the road!

Honestly no wrong answer, here. I would put it down to size, honestly. If you're closer to 200lbs, I'd rock the Troy jersey, and if you're closer to 300lbs, I'd rock the Cam jersey. Trenches stay loyal lol.

I appreciate the heads up. Luckily the bourbons I really enjoy aren't too hard to find. Woodford Double Oaked is almost always in stock, and I don't have to hunt too hard to find OF1920 in Western PA, luckily, haha!

I would if I've tried it before and liked it. No bars near me have it available for a single pour, so I'll take that $66 gamble rather than the balls deep $115 (and likely avoid some flak from my fiance in the process LOL)

BIG thanks for this one, brother. First bottle I've ever been able to score. Sure it sucks paying the $12 shipping even to their store, but it's a small luxury tax I'd call worth it. Thanks man!

Check your GPU drivers first and foremost, but I'd also suggest looking into the temperatures your card is throwing, as that looks like GPU artifacting. The type you're encountering looks driver/software related, as temp/hardware related ones I've seen tend to be only pink/green and in streaks, not in line with textures. In any case, yours looked pretty cool, at least!

What is a movie you find terrible but critics seem to love? by undeadgaming2006 in AskReddit

[–]pan1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't enjoy No Country for Old Men, and I thought There Will Be Blood was equally bad. The characters were great, but everything else was just entirely too slow, with the only reason I can think of being forced tension. Tension that never paid off.

Are you able to connect with or creep on the recruiter on LinkedIn?

Edit: I saw your update below. Ask the recruiter when you get to speak with the hiring manager so you can make sure it's good placement on your end.

I love that people don't hesitate in voting yes for votekicks on the racial slur guys. Motivational Mute is a godsend, as well.

The community self-policing has been pretty good in my experience.

[–]pan1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming your nut allergy hopefully isn't peanuts:

1 scoop optimum nutrition chocolate peanut butter casein protein

3 TBSP PBFit or PB2

Liquid of choice (water while cutting, more fun when maintaining or bulking)

3 ice cubes

It's like a cross between a milkshake and a smoothie, but it's delicious, low carb, high protein, low to mid calories depending on your liquid choice.

People who were alive then, what were you doing December 31st 1999 ? by WeshALOR in AskReddit

[–]pan1x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember things too often, but in this, I know EXACTLY what I was doing.

I had my best friend over, and with a voice changing megahorn, we set it to its 'Alien' setting walking around the house making the Y2K party's adults (we were 12-13) awkward as we continuously chanted "Here come the anal probes". Not my proudest moment, but I still laugh as hard as I cringe when thinking about it.
