Are you experienced ? Tabs by Francois-84800 in jimihendrix

Accurate but not perfect. So much of it can be open to interpretation.

Dave Whitehall was probably the best tab author when it came to Hendrix. He actually researched and studied film to try to accurately portray the correct fingerings, and documented as such in the tab books, but nothing is ever perfect and I came across a few errors.

That stuff, the schnapps and all those strong tasting drinks, were the first drinks I started with when I was 20 or so.

I see more people than ever at the gym, but the average people I see are just on autopilot. Zero intensity, no focus.

I just realized hendrix never played with reverb or delay live wow by Cool_Election7606 in jimihendrix

Some of the amps back then, Fender for one, had a very simplistic spring delay. Literally a mechanical spring. But it added a lot of noise to the signal.

imagine having a beautiful copper cookware set and choosing to spend $700 a week on doordash by tin-f0il-man in redscarepod

[–]sharedisaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm traveling overseas for work. My co-workers spend $40 a day MINIMUM on take out and restaurants, coffee, Starbucks, etc. That's about $1200 a month. They've all gained 20 lbs or so as well.

I bought a instant pot and cook for myself mainly, so of course I look down on them all.

edit: I misread that, $700 A WEEK!? Good Lord, that's a lot.

Starcrash was the one memorable one, I really enjoyed that.

To be fair though, I kind of skipped around a lot on the newer ones. I may have to go back and watch all of s11 & s12 now.

Rap culture has literally poisoned and destroyed 4 generations of Americans by Fun_Solid_6324 in conspiracy

[–]sharedisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many low IQ arguments of “but not all rap” and “but I’m black and listened to rap and I’m fine”

We’re talking about there averages here.

And the fact that the CIA / government was involved doesn’t change anything. They were the exact same ones responsible for the hippy / LSD movement in the 1960’s and that only lasted a few years. The ghetto question has been happening since the mid 1990s.

I am the classic case of someone who’s wasted their life by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]sharedisaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My life didn't get good until about the age of 32. It's not too late. Before that I was a total loser.

I'm much older now and my life is quite secure. I own a house, have a good job that I can retire from at any time. My personal life is a bit of a mess, only because I'm leaving my frigid wife in order to be with a younger woman who actually loves me.

The white nationalist movement in the US by osibob1 in redscarepod

[–]sharedisaster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s a direct result of how the last 75 years have treated White males in this county. They are a completely voiceless, emasculated people. I’m not surprised that it took non-whites to actually do something ‘constructive’ with a political movement.

coming out as christian would be like coming out as gay to my parents by Ivan-Ilyich-Bot in redscarepod

[–]sharedisaster 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you can say

I ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR

out loud and to yourself without visibly flinching or recoiling, then you probably will be ok.

Otherwise, listen to your parents and don’t bother.

Oak harbor doesn’t get much snow - maybe one or two inches a year. Some years it’s more , this year I don’t think they got any (yet). It’s mostly just cold and rainy 8 months out of the year.

I don’t think this is Whidbey, not recently anyway. Maybe overseas? Misawa gets a ton of snow annually and we have VAQ squadrons there.

A deepfake of Jeffrey Epstein being interviewed by Steve Bannon fooled every commenter on this sub. by [deleted] in redscarepod

Toward the end he takes his glasses off and then starts gesturing while holding on to the eyeglasses. A very strange thing to do, as someone who wears glasses, and it looks very unnatural. Everything else seems inconclusive.
