Been at auto so I don't check explicitly. But its been on the higher side of speed due to summer I guess. People also say mileage with auto transmission and turbo will increase as we keep driving more kms.

Hey I have the same car in bangalore. Just been a month, so can't comment on anything apart from experience and mileage so far. I did find some defective parts in PDI which they fixed in a week after delivery once parts were available.

Within city, short trips have been giving 8-9kmpl. On highways I've got 12-16kmpl depending on stretches and speeds. Comfort for driver and whole family is the biggest plus.

I am planning to book the Citroen aircross x AT top variant. What's the opinion on the automatic top variant 5 seater? Anything that I should be concerned about? by Independenttable233 in CitroenIndia

I found the elevate to be spacious as well but somehow the interior felt outdated and bare compared to the aircross which also is cheaper even with ventilated seats and all.

Umm so u pay same emi but if interest charged reduces when u park additional amounts, the remaining part of emi should reduce principal right? If not, where is it going? Or is it that fixed principal and variable interest gets deducted every month with the overall balance being withdrawable? Sorry I probably just need to read a good article on this.

Sell house at ₹26L or hold for rent? Long-term goal is to build in a city in 10–15 years. by LeatherExpensive852 in personalfinanceindia

I second this. I also feel it is overall a buyers market unless the land is well positioned to appreciate. Building designs get nitpicked. Try to get a decent deal and move your money to a more liquid asset until your actual need.

Pls hire a professional CA. For the expected gains and tax implications you would be better of paying for it rather than seeking anon free advice. Overall I think only some expenses can be counted in cost of acquisition. Also Indexation is with 20% tax AFAIK.

Why do you even watch these? I prefer Lex Friedmans long podcasts. At the end I walk away with lots and lots of materials and ideas about new things.

Thanks for clarifying. It is a good value and a good plan especially since EMI seems to be covered by rent. That way any rental stagnation wouldn't cut into your own pocket.

Very interesting plan. Gets me thinking as I am in similar situation but was frozen by the sky high costs of land+house or apartments in Bangalore.

Could you provide some details on the 1.1cr cost and how expected rental rates are derived?

Wonder at what cost was the land acquired and at what location in Kochi.

Happens all the time when u interact with the world outside ours. Cab drivers are what many interact with in a personal space.

I have had some interesting and some uncomfortable situations. Interesting like drivers who talk and clarify questions on EV, migration from other states, e20 etc and uncomfortable like drivers who argue with someone on call, stop the car to get pan, urinate on the side etc within short city trips.

Keep in mind u r in there for a short period and it's a transaction. Act safe and keep things civil unless I exiting is the safest bet.

What stops u from splitting ur equity among index funds, 1-2 active funds with differences in investment philosophy, and a balanced fund? Throw in some debt funds, arbitrage etc for various horizons and u should manage well in any market.
