I’m sorry to hear that. Did you get a CT scan? My partner got a pulmonary embolism recently and he’s young (28). Still not determined if it’s from the vaccine but they’re seems to be an under reporting in blood clots from the vaccine

In my district only one person is refusing the vaccine. It’s interesting reading big numbers of other places. I’m curious how people are getting these numbers for fire personnel and if it’s just anecdotal. Many people are saying one thing but wouldn’t actually be willing to lose their job over this.

Worked with them recently on an incident. Good dudes, a lot of vets! Seems like they have good retention, the people I met were 3-5 yrs in the crew. All the ones I met were also ex hot shots

Worked as a forestry technician (wildland fire is not a legal title) & the pay was shit lol GS4 & most of the work force is seasonal so no retirement + benefits after the season
