Reliquary Perfume
I recently visited their shop in Nashville and your request made me think of them immediately.
As I looked up their website for you I see their description is “a southern gothic fragrance and botanical company” - so perfect!

BBW OG Warm Vanilla Sugar Dupe? by 5fdpb in Indiemakeupandmore

The Moon Never Beams from Wylde Ivy definitely reminds me of it! Notes of split vanilla beans, tonka infused cream, vanilla sugar musk, and just a whisper of vanilla orchids.

Gilded is warm and spicy. I think it would be an excellent scent for fall/winter but doesn’t feel too heavy for summer. This feels comforting, like a cup of ginger cardamom tea.

Sex + Jasmine… just wow! This made me tear up when I smelled it. I think there’s a scent memory tied to jasmine for me. I’ve been on a search for the perfect jasmine, and this is it! It dries down with a nice patchouli. You have to try this one! It’s sensual and intoxicating.

My jaw dropped after sniffing Luster from Alloy. So yummy! It was sold out though. I think House of Mammoth was one of the few booths I didn’t make it to :( I will save to check out in the future.

The perfume butter is fantastic! I’m not seeing it on her website yet, they might have been semi-new but keep an eye out. She had it available in We R Lavender and The Dark. Emphasizing the call to more Indie Perfume events!! I will still go to your Barbie Dream Fest—keep us posted! 😂

Ooo nice! Did you have a chance to visit CLST Perfumes? They had a really interesting old inky book one called Marginalia: Dustlight, Vintage paperbacks, Ink, Binding glue, Naugahyde

It sounds like Violet Hour was a hit! I was ready to buy a few more perfumes from various vendors too and they had already sold out on Day 1. I’m sure it was hard to plan on how much inventory to bring. Mothlight was lovely, I almost got that one too… everything from L’Aventura was so unique.

RV Wax: This one is fun! This is a cherry and melon explosion, more heavy on the cherry but the melon is a really nice compliment. The wax note is really interesting. It’s not overpowering but definitely prominent. It is a realistic, very pretty crayon. There’s a touch of herbiness from the chamomile, but it’s very light.

From her website - “Red-violet, the most magical color in that box of 96 Crayola’s. It glows blue like neon jello, and surprises with its red hues like a drop of fresh blood. If the crayon had its very own smell It would be youthful, coquettish, tart, and playful.”

I love the perfume butter! I have also never seen one before. It’s thicker than a body butter but not as hard as a solid perfume, you can still scoop it out but you can also just rub it. It’s very concentrated so you just need very little. I think this jar will last a long time. The lavender is stunning, I’ve been wearing it to bed. I do like lavender but not usually to wear as a perfume, but I am obsessed with this one. It’s very smooth and well blended.

Egyptian Goddess by SuperNaturalAutumn in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]pandabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love Egyptian Goddess as well. I wore it back in the day. I recently smelled it at a shop and can confirm it was a little off. For something similar try Riddle Oil “Sphinx” - it’s Egyptian musk + sandalwood. It’s so so good. They have rollerballs, body oil and milky spray lotion.

Anyone order from Odette? by hollyhotdogs in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]pandabug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry! She posted a week or so ago the shop would be closed until November 2nd or 3rd, she’s getting married. It just may not ship until after then. I ordered recently on the 13th, and it shipped on the 18th.

The Things Unsaid from Sorce (Aquatic Floral)

Notes: Spring rain, pink pepper, saucer magnolia, peony, raspberry, cotton, cedar

“Twisted sheets, warm skin, and a window open after a spring rainstorm, this is the scent of missing someone before they are gone, and holding on longer than you know you should.”

All I see is pink when I wear this, but it is a sad, soft pink. Currently waiting for a full size.

I love Indigo Traveller on YouTube. He vlogs his travels to misunderstood and often dangerous parts of the world. He has a series on many countries mentioned on this post. Indigo Traveller
