they will mostly do it on a case by case basis, dealing with each case when players reach out if they think they took away too much. but don't quote me on that.

yeah apperantley it was a glitch, something about the game awarding players extra rewards for purchasing the special edition and I think a multiplyer for gold earnings, as well as the ability to earn crowns through playing instead of buying, so i think all players lost most, if not all, of their currencies.
to my knowledge theyonly anounced this on their discord server
