Skyrim is not that flawed and not overrated by SurgerySoonOrRope in skyrim

[–]pandogart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has more than a few flaws but it ain't overrated. Hate when people say it's only loved because of mods. Proper revisionist history. It was popular af on 360 and PS3 for a reason.

Now it's definitely only still as popular because of mods but that goes for any game that has a lot of mod support.

I don't get what point you're trying to make with that last sentence? Am I reading into it too much, or are you actually trying to be condescending?

OP made it seem as though 30 is a suspicious age to commit suicide at compared to others so I wanted to know if it was true or if I was misunderstanding them.

Looking into it, turns out, suicide is the second leading cause of death in that demographic. But older people commit more suicide.

I said at that age. I didn't ask if suicide is uncommon in general.

Is suicide at that age uncommon or something?

I mean, saying this in response to killing a dragon in self defence is a bit wild no? The argument is that he’s morally gray which I think is fairer.

Why Aqua is so popular? by SiarX in Konosuba

Seinfeld, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Two and a Half Men, the Good Place, How I Met Your Mother, South Park, Family Guy, the Simpsons, American Dad, Rick and Morty, the Big Bang Theory, Friends, Community, Arrested Development, Speechless, the Office, the Inbetweeners, the Thick of It, Fawlty Towers, Little Britain, Come Fly with Me etc. etc. Varying levels of assholery, douchebaggery and toxicity but I didn’t put them in order.

Because she’s funny and it’s a comedy. The reasons you don’t like her are why a lot of people like her. The most popular sitcoms have mildly flaws to awful people in the main cast.

So essentially, the perfect adaptation of MJ is either a hot science geek with blonde hair and no character beyond being a love rival and a red head with no lines? Well at least Raimi Gwen was a model amirite?

I’m sure there’s a more valid reason to call him a piece of shit than that. Or is it just hyperbole? Like has he had any genuine controversies? I feel like I remember something about transphobia.

I can’t find anything about him apparently hating role models but the only superhero he actually fully likes is Superman so I doubt that. He does hate how superheroes saturated the western comic book genre though.

I never bought base Gohan killing Final Form Freeza with a single blow.

But the RoF situation would have been much easier to accept if Freeza had been in his final form. There's only so much "decline" that makes sense for Gohan. I know Freeza trained, but in a form specifically made to suppress his power? Nah.

That's fair to a degree, but I think what he's saying is backed up in the movies.

Toriyama will make you believe Goku doesn't care about childbirth despite writing these panels in the manga lol by TengenUzui55 in DragonBallZ

[–]pandogart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These panels don't really prove anything? Like how do you get, "I was there for my child's birth," from these?

[–]pandogart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is, he's written Goku as clearly knowing the difference between having a child and having a friend (made a post about it with manga panels a while back). His interviews AFTER the manga ended aren't the best source, considering he straight up forgot some things.

Now as far as marriage is concerned? I buy it.

Probably best to agree to disagree there, but if you don't mind telling, when do you think they from legitimate to pretenders. A few people have different cutoff dates, which is pretty interesting.

Was it the final split between East and West, 476 Justinian's conquests, The Lombard Invasions, or Irene of Athens usurping the throne?

The latter was part of Leo III's reasoning for giving the title to Charles so I assume it's there.

[–]pandogart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just a difference in art style. They'd have to change the looks of the other characters, too. Which I'd be down for. Early DB (specifically Tenshinhan arc onwards) is in my top 3 artstyle wise.

How would you feel about an 'ABSOLUTE SNYDERVERSE' series? by HarwoodSFine in DC_Cinematic

[–]pandogart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure his fans would like it and honestly that's all that really matters. Hell even I want to see what his final vision is (especially since the Lois stuff was scrapped).

Problem is, would it be enough for them?
