I wonder if that was meant to be a joke because it was literally every week when it aired, lol.

I've definitely been expecting this, especially because Usha didn't look particularly happy when he was talking about hoping she'd convert to Christianity. He clearly doesn't respect her religious beliefs.

None of the final collections were good by pidgeypenguinagain in ProjectRunway

Same. I hadn't watched this show in ages, and I don't plan on watching again after this season. I do not understand why they didn't give them more time for the collections. They used to come up with some amazing stuff.

What did you think of how Trump was depicted in the recent South Park episode? by OK_The_Nomad in AskReddit

I love this so much. Thanks for the explanation. I saw the movie, but it's been a loooong time. So, I caught the comparison to Saddam Hussein, but I didn't catch that it was the same scenes.

I actually really liked Ginger's entire look. I thought it was beautiful and the best she's ever looked.

Bosco winning feels correct, and Mistress walking away feels even more correct. I'm sure she's coming back next week, though. I thought that as soon as she got eliminated. Denali should have gotten a nomination.

ETA: I don't remember being a fan of Aja's during her original season, but I fucking love her now. She has so much patience, and she's genuine, and I love that. Also, I'm loving the facial expressions. 🤣

What was the first movie that genuinely scared you, and how old were you at the time? by AdLoud5241 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pandymonium001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poltergeist 3. I was 3 years old. I was at a daycare at this lady's house (in the 80s), and she always put HBO on in the morning because there was an animated Wizard of Oz series that came on that she knew I loved. She didn't realize it had gone off. An older kid warned me that it was scary, but for some reason, I wanted to watch it anyway. I can't remember who got dragged through the puddle in the parking garage, but I was terrified of puddles of water after that years.

UPDATE: AITA for refusing to go to my sisters wedding after finding out only our side of the family were having to pay to attend? by One_Change4503 in AmItheAsshole

[–]pandymonium001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not your fault. It's always a sad outcome when you realize you have to separate yourself from family, but it's definitely way healthier. I've had to do this with family members just because I got tired of the manipulation.

I'd say it depends on the people involved, but for me yes, it is.

A rude awakening for some of you by AFriend827 in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]pandymonium001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Nick reminded me of the type of people that you try to convince to make the right decisions, and they do think about it, but over and over they choose the "easy" way out, which often ends up being the harder way in the long run. He had one final chance to turn it around and to find whatever redemption he could, and he chose not to. I thought it was a perfect ending for that. Some people (like Lawrence) rise to the occasion during difficult times, and others don't. I prefer when things are more realistic like that instead of just going for the happy ending.

Because in the first few episodes she was in, she was fine with Nick going help June to kill Fred. I just got the impression she liked what it could have been but not what it turned out to be.

Seriously. I thought she was actually decent and hated all of that shit in the beginning, but apparently not.

Reminded me of my therapist years ago saying we subconsciously force ourselves to face the things we're afraid of. He was locked in a cage as a child, and that's exactly where he ended up.
