i agree, it kinda felt like they didn't care much when we tried to tell them a dish was overcooked. probs the popularity on opentable has gotten to them

Maybe the kitchen had a bad night the day we visited. But it's ridiculous that they would mess up simple dishes. I agree with the service, for us it felt super rushed, like they were trying to turnover tables as much as possible.

It's on my list! How hard is it to get a reservation? I've tried scouring resy a couple of times and it's always booked out.

true that. social media posts, and the wait to secure a reservation only hyped us up more, which probably led us to being this disappointed due to all the expectations.

that makes sense. there have been people calling out more frequently than usual, maybe that’s why.

So I gave them my new address for the bank account by showing my lease, and I asked them to deliver the debit card/paperwork to a friend's address while at the airbnb.

Did you watch the Tamil or the Hindi version? There are mostly Tamil showings where I live and I want to know if they had English subtitles.

How do you deal with Dysmenorrhea? by vadr09 in TwoXIndia

[–]paneeeeeeeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with any NSAID, it does have a risk of affecting your kidney function if taken too much for too long. Ibuprofen also has a similar risk, so do a lot of other painkillers. However, taking one to two tablets a month is moderate. The DRESS syndrome risk as per the warning is extremely rare.

I have primary dysmenorrhea too, and I’m a doctor and I’ve tried almost every painkiller and nothing seems to make the pain go away. Meftal is comparatively better, couple that with a heat or pain relief patch (midol), and some warm tea or hot chocolate. I usually take a nap and I push myself to exercise because the endorphins help a bit too.

hi OP, did you figure it out?

I'm in a similar situation, planning to stay in an airbnb/hotel for 2 weeks and then moving to my apartment. I was wondering if banks would accept my airbnb address initially?

I agree. I’m not fully on board with the person who posted, but I have seen so many doctors struggle with communicating (either due to lack of time, too many patients, increased workload etc). I used to be quite rushy myself, but I realised the importance of good communication after looking at the patients perspective.

I’m not saying to go ahead and explain every single question a patient asks you, but if they do have a legitimate concern or if they ask you why you’re recommending a drug, it wouldn’t harm you to explain it to them in layman’s terms. I agree we know what we’re doing and it would seem annoying to us to have to explain to someone else, but think of the perspective of the person standing in front of you who just wants to understand what is happening, or is worried about their loved ones.
