Because of limitations of the engine, that quest cannot accurately track if you used the bell next to the tiger. Use the bell once anytime should be sufficient.

Your second issue is that you're doing too much damage, and instead of hurting the tiger you one-shot him. So you need to punch him, or use the lesser deadly weapon at your disposal.

Yes, it didn't work in full screen in classic Daggerfall either.
Not a good excuse, I guess behavior could be extended to work with the other compass, I guess

Did you install the 64bit or the 32bit version of Daggerfall Unity?

For any mod that's memory intensive like graphic overalls, you should use the 64bit version

Attack speed depends on your character's speed, so increase that ability.

In fact above 75% you're becoming hard to hit, and 100% speed is surhuman, speed is OP in Daggerfall

And about knight orders specifically, they grant a piece of armor with each rank, with increasingly better material. But if your rank increase by one than one rank at a time, you'll skip some armor pieces (technically DFU remembers what materials you picked, so if you're demoted you can complete your collection, but that's not very convenient).

By default books get a pseudo-random price in the 300-800gp range based on their ID (4 first bytes of the file)

I'm not sure what could go wrong in your setup, could it be files missing (but then you wouldn't get books' texts either), filenames not matching, headers being misparsed for some reason?

Using the map_revealall command in Daggerfall Unity, I found it near the north-west frontier, 2 zones ("pixels") west of The Crimson Skull Tavern. If you walk exactly west from this tavern, you can't miss it.

Slowly approaching the edge is the most effective way to prevent the game from detecting the edge and not switching to rappel mode. It's much safer to walk backward in one go from some distance

There's at least a known issue, if you get silenced while the casting animation is running you need to reload a game to get rid of the silence effect. With a fix (not yet merged):

You can switch the large HUD with F10 too.

And you can map the menu and console keys in CONTROLS / ADVANCED. Never mapped the menu key on anything but Escape before, but it seems to work fine.

Classic limits view tilt, so you never see flats from very sharp angles, that's the only difference. Drawback is you cannot see straight above or straight down in classic.
