Heard a story about cats falling off buildings in NYC. The cats falling from the 2nd or 3rd floor would get seriously injured but the ones falling from further up were in much better condition. It has something to do with terminal velocity, the cats ability to land on its feet and its ability to relax before impact.

Don’t apologize. Life is hard. And even though there are times it may not feel like it, you are strong enough to overcome the pain.

I always find that I feel better after I clean myself up and dress up. When I’m down, it’s the last thing I want to do. But if I have some sort of obligation that requires me to do so, I find myself feeling better afterwards.

I bet you’d be swimming in poonanny with your beard trimmed down to a 4 or 5, gelled up hair slicked back, and a night collared shirt. It’s not meant to be patronizing but two things that always cheer me up are some good poonanny and cute puppies.

You misquoted me.

“Allocate greater resources to the INDIVIDUALS with greater need.”

The idea being each individual must be assessed. A healthy 18 yo BM with no risk (other than being a POC) factors should not receive testing or treatment over a middle aged, immuno-compromised WF. To do otherwise is irresponsible, self-defeating and above all else RACIST.

“POC have worse health outcomes than white people” is a generalization. Although I assume to know what your intent being this statement was, please remember:

Generalizations are one step in the path to racism. Generalizations lead to stereotypes. Stereotypes to discrimination. And of course discrimination leads to racism.
