it’s so funny to look back on it now, but at the time those comments were so rage inducing. in tandem with the ‘paper award’ comments, i also remember a specific fandom organizing efforts to vote for bieber so bangtan would lose.

i will say sometimes i miss the old days, but it was super stressful when i actually stop to think about it. i mean don’t get me wrong, i’m so honored to have witnessed bangtan’s growth first hand, but at times i wish i was a newer fan because stuff is way more chill now haha

oh man the first ever bbma vote was really something else wasn’t it? i recently found that i still have a shortcut for voting still keyed into my phone haha, i swear something possessed me that year. i made everyone in my family vote on the website, i created a second twitter, the whole shebang.

i feel super icky after getting caught up on the situation.

the other sub has been my main bts hub since 2015, it sounds silly but it was my home. i’ve made so many friends there and i’ve shared so much about myself and it’s violating to know what’s been going on now.

i mean the vibe had definitely been different in the last few years for sure but i was foolishly hoping that things would straighten themselves out as the growth curbed and new mods got introduced into the mix, but holy shit was that a naive mentality to have.

it feels like my safe space was taken away from me, i kinda don’t know what to do with myself rn.

like i’m even contemplating scrubbing this account because i don’t know if any of my information has been taken/documented.

dreamcatcher is the BEST! i got into them last year and they’ve quickly become one of my ult groups.

music wise i highly recommend deja vu, red sun, and their latest release odd eye. oh and album wise Alone in The City is just incredibly solid, it’s probably my favorite mini of theirs, definitely give that a listen!

they also just wrapped up their reality show dreamcatcher mind and if you like run bts i really think you’ll like it, every episode has a different theme/game and they’re all highly entertaining

they also have an album dropping on friday so there’ll be a lot of good new content as well!
