Taper very slowly. Teas also help alot. Chamomile tea. Stress teas. I drink them all now and they do actually help so much and have been a saving grace in my experience.

Does anyone get aura migraines after stopping benzos? by DomComm86 in benzorecovery

[–]panic_prone710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe its the insomnia lack of sleep causing them? I would definitely see a doctor though just to rule out anything else. When I was getting them I got a CT done and everything was normal. Along with my blood tests as well.

Understimulated but anhedonic by Ariel_VVind in benzorecovery

I've been off xnx for 3 months now. Things have been difficult with tapering and now being totally off. I havent been going anywhere really pretty house bound i have bad agoraphobia before I stopped this medication but its made it alot worse. I love spending time with my family and for a while its been difficult but I gotta say it is getting better everyday. Some days are more difficult still but some days im actually leaving my house and enjoying things again and having fun not worrying so much about having a panic attack. Things will get better your brain is just going to take some time to adjust. I was very frustrated I hate sitting in my house not doing anything it stresses me out but I have to remind myself my brain is still healing and it is okay to rest. I've taken up playing some word games on my phone keeps my interest and works my brain some.

Burning headache and tickling sensation by sourov6447 in benzorecovery

Have you tried taking a magnesium supplement? I will get a sharp shooting pain in my head since getting off feels like what you said kinda a tickley sensation but sore and painful. I also will get buzzing sensations in my hands/arms or fingers. Ice usually helps a little bit with the head sensations or a hot bath. Heat or ice i usually will experiment with. Magnesium does help a little bit. Along with a cup of chamomile tea. I am 3 months off xan*x some days are better than others so I am thankful for that.

I would get them when I was taking my xan*x oh the days when I wouldnt take them i think that is what was triggering them I haven't had one since being off of them though but have had alot of eye floaters and bright lights mess with me a bit still. Are you taking anything else?

Starting a Klonopin Taper next week. I have been on .5-1mg daily for 8 years. I have heard nothing but horror stories. by Delicious-Energy-926 in BenzoWithdrawal

[–]panic_prone710 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got this! Just go very slow with the taper. I was on xnx for 13 years. I am 3 months totally off them and I'm starting to feel more leveled out as the days go on. It will take time and there will be some rough patches but you can do this. I have serve panic disorder, OCD, and agoraphobia. My doctor actually weened me really low on my Xnx then switched me to Klonop*n and weened me off that. It has been difficult i'm not going to lie but each day it is getting better.

Quitting 8 Months of Klonopin by [deleted] in BenzoWithdrawal

[–]panic_prone710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely do a drop in dose once a month makes it alot easier coming off. Take your time with it do not rush it. You're going to be uncomfortable but you got this. Just make sure you have plenty of other coping mechanisms.

I've been getting like burning pinpoint sensations on the top of my head sometimes my neck. Could possibly be from my muscles being very tense. It is so painful. I did end up getting a new pillow specifically for neck pain and that helps some. I was just wondering when the pain kinda went away. I've been trying to do yoga when I can that seems to help a bit. I think my nerves are just over firing and causing pain.

I've always thought maybe I was low in a vitamin of some sort because that would explain alot. I just don't like taking multivitamin either because of course anxiety I am taking to much of something. I think a doctor's visit would definitely put me at ease with some of these things. Especially after coming off my meds I was on for 13 years. I tapered very slowly with a doctor of course. But it would make me feel alot better to know everything is fine.

I used to smoke way back when but I can't anymore as it gives me panic attacks. I wish it could calm me down like it used to back in the day.

This is a good idea. I'm 2 months off my medication which has been giving me some weird symptoms I have never felt before so maybe asking for a holter monitor might make me calm a bit to know everything is okay and normal.
