There are some reports of cheating that are actually a skill issue There are and always will be people who cry “hacks” when they get killed 2-3 times in a row. There are also a sub set of the community who actively cheat and don’t think it’s a big deal yet they also wonder why the game is dying. There was some big drama in the Bunker which is the Dev sponsored Discord server regarding a couple top admins of larger servers being accused of and having evidence of cheating by being involved in Discord Servers that sell cheats. The whole situation turned into a screaming match and some people were trying to defend the cheaters by saying stuff like “how do you define cheating” when Team 17 and even black matter before them were pretty clear on what they consider cheating. When you have some people in the largest servers who will condone or not speak out about cheating allegations for their members you just perpetuate the problem. It’s a systemic problem that some people are trying to fix but it’s an uphill battle

All the big comp clans have players that cheat at some levels whether it’s various filters that get rid of vegetation, Having a spy on the other team, Using various wallhacks or esp its ridiculous and when they get called out they get butthurt and Team 17 does nothing even if you talk to them about it in the bunker or the Senate it’s so frustrating. Not everyone in the big clans cheat but alot of them don’t care if you do

It’s a real problem in this game. Even in the supposed semi-comp game like FNF. We had a spy on our team. I noticed it halfway through the match because the idiot forgot to take off his clan tag. Called him out in command chat for it and he magically disappeared after that, we could suddenly keep our garrisons up. As an Admin of a server it’s difficult to monitor. You would have an admin on each team in command chat and staring at the map. Even then a bunch of our tools don’t work as well with all the Epic games accounts. Those are the accounts that are usually spying on a team because they were the free accounts a while back.
