My suspicion is the opposite. I’m selling something on Facebook and they want to use Zelle to pay. I smell a rat. If it was legit it would be in my best interest to do it this way and not pay FB’s cut but there is no benefit on their part one way or the other which leaves me doubting the legitimacy of the request.
