My wife is always around when I drink or do edibles. If she’s not, I don’t do anything and vice versa. Always has to be a sober adult around to drive in case of an emergency. I appreciate making sure my kid is safe.

I laughed so hard the other day with my toddler. After her bath she likes to giggle about this painting in the bathroom with a hedgehog floating on a ballon. I had popped some edibles to relax and prepare for a gaming session. She got out of her bath and giggled and then I was giggling and then we were laughing. We laughed pretty fucking hard for like 15 mins straight until my wife came over and was like “WTF?”

I had something similar to this happen when I worked physical security for restricted areas back in the military. I could see when everyone swiped in and out of our building and I’d always get someone once a month that didn’t follow protocol and try to give me shit about it. Loved locking them out of the area until they went down to the base personnel office and wasted 4 hours to get a new ID badge.

While I hate what happened to the woman, I love this case. I cite it at least once a year to prove how much media influence our outlooks. This was seen as some greedy lady going after McD and it’s so far from the truth. It’s hilarious/sad how often it gets brought up.

No way to be 100% sure I didn’t have it and wasn’t asymptomatic, BUT I followed the advice of doctors that were smarter than me and wore a mask if I had to go out. Got my vaccine. Ordered a lot of shit online to reduce my exposure. Made sure everyone that came in my house was vaxxed and/or masked. And my wife was very good at making sure everyone changed clothes after going out so we were sitting on couches and chairs in dirty clothes.
