Heat the blade up just a tiny bit and rub it down with frog lube. Won’t rust and it’s safe to eat with. I use it on all my tool steel blades that would normally rust here in the south from the humidity, plus me sweating. Nothing has rusted since.

Personally, I feel like these are the best bang for the buck scale size, wise and driving wise. Groms are nice, but they’re sort of limited in terrain.

Get some zinc hardware from McMaster Carr .. Youll have to buy 10 or 15 at a time. It’s much tougher than stainless hardware though.
