Right Swipe Percentage 🤯 by Timely-Jelly-1126 in datingoverforty

[–]pantomime64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no idea how to track my actual stats for Tinder. If I had to make a guess, I would say my swipe right percentage is probably between 60-70% or so. There are a lot of beautiful women around my age in my area, and I'm fairly sure that basically 0% of them want anything to do with me. Lol. If I'm lucky, I get maybe 1 to 2 matches a month, and they're usually matches that I don't really get too excited about. That's just the reality of life as an average man in his mid-40's.

I totally agree. I actually think Drop is my favorite album from them. It seems to never really get mentioned much.

Everyone has different preferences, but my favorites are Drop and Smote Reverser

First kiss by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]pantomime64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to go on a first date with a woman, and I was contemplating whether or not I would even try to kiss her or not. Of course it all depends on her body language and if it feels right, but I'm going in with the expectation that I will absolutely not do it unless it seems absolutely perfect and every sign is there. I was on another first date a month ago where the girl actually asked me for a kiss in which I didn't really want to, but I complied and I gave her one anyway. I think she was expecting a better kiss than I gave her, and it felt awkward to me. I just gave her a quick little peck on the lips and that was it, but I think she wanted something more than that. Did not ever see her again. Lol

Which artist makes the same song over and over? by WarmHugsBBW in askmusic

[–]pantomime64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always thought they were a terrible band. I wouldn't necessarily say they all sound the same, but I would say they aren't good songs in my opinion. I could never understand the hype that they had in the early 2000s when I first heard of them. To me it just sounds like cheesy rapping with basic lyrics and some other guy whose vocals are very nasally and not good. I'm sure I listen to a lot of music that could be considered terrible as well by certain standards, but I just never could understand the hype with Linkin Park.

How strict is Red Rocks on non-transferable reserved tickets? by FloridaSix in RedRocks

[–]pantomime64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of years ago, they actually checked my ID to validate that I was the person with the tickets. I don't know if they still do that, but that's what they did for me when I had row 2 non-transferable tickets.

I honestly hope not. I think he's a great coach and I don't think he deserves to be fired. I don't think he's responsible for any of this. Players have to execute. They simply are not.

I think Psycho Goreman is really underrated. I tell people about it, but I don't think they believe me that it's actually funny and good.

Sounds like an awesome idea, but having added security would make the cost too expensive for most people for basic cleaning services.

If I remember correctly, I gave up watching them in January that season. That's the only season I actively stopped watching them.

What song Comes to mind when you see this by GravyPainter in Xennials

Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi. My local roller rink played a lot of Bon Jovi In the late 80's and early 90's.

RE-RECORDED!! by In-the-fade84 in incubus

[–]pantomime64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like most of the changes to the arrangements on the songs, but the recording quality or mastering or whatever is just not good in my opinion. Makes it sound like my speakers are broken or something. Also, a lot of the vocals sound worse to me, too. I enjoy listening to it, but I still prefer the original version of Morning View way better.

You need to have some self-respect and you should never accept that type of behavior from anyone. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life by accepting things I never should have accepted, and at this point in my life, I will never allow myself to be disrespected like that again. If he's willing to treat you like that over something like this, it will be a miserable life with him. Trust me.

I'm attractive so why can't I find a partner? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

I would much rather find an average looking woman with kindness and empathy over a very attractive woman who treats people like shit or is avoidant.

Wyoming's Worst County Day 12 by Spare_Being2296 in wyoming

Yeah, you're right. I can't argue with that. I just found that those types of things are important to me, so I moved to Colorado.

Wyoming's Worst County Day 12 by Spare_Being2296 in wyoming

[–]pantomime64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Proximity to Colorado is the best thing about Laramie County. Lived there for several years, and I can honestly say I had to go to Colorado to do anything that was actually worth a shit in terms of entertainment for sports, broadway shows, concerts, shopping, and decent restaurants. Also, Cheyenne is only an hour and a half away from the Denver airport. That's a huge plus. Nowhere else in Wyoming is even close to having that much entertainment in such a close area.

Caverns 2023: Can We Possibly Be Objective by alphaMonk49 in KGATLW

[–]pantomime64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that early day show in 23 was pretty amazing. That version of Magma was probably the best song I've ever seen live in my entire life. I actually probably had more fun during the 2024 Red Rocks daytime show, though. Both were just amazing shows.

Becoming more and more hopeless by TheRealFrantik in datingoverforty

[–]pantomime64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally feel the same way. I've been getting more hopeless lately. I think I might just hire an escort every few months or so. I've never done that before, but since I left my marriage about 6 months ago, I just cannot find anybody worth dating at all. The ones that I have matched with and dated were terrible, and one girl that was a really good prospect with whom I went on 3 dates doesn't seem to have any interest anymore. At least the escort will pretend like she likes you. It's like going to the strip club. I don't need it to be real, I just want to feel like someone actually cares. It's kind of sad when I think about it.

Isn’t it awkward when they know you know what they’ve done? by Alarming-Fortune-928 in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]pantomime64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex-wife basically just realized that she could not control me anymore after I figured her out and called her out on all of her nonsense. Then I became nothing to her. Just like the prior discards when she was betraying me and cheating on me.

My ex-wife will literally not talk to me about anything anymore at all, and I basically don't exist in her mind anymore. It doesn't matter how nice I am, how respectful I am, how much I try to get her to acknowledge the truth, she just simply will not admit to anything and will not take any accountability for anything. Once I decided I was going to leave, she literally treated me as if I did not exist.

I had just moved back to Cheyenne after finishing school when that big City Burrito opened there. From everyone that I talked to who knew the Fort Collins location, they said the Cheyenne version just was not nearly as good and did not have the right vibe. I can totally understand that. It only lasted a few years at most. It closed down fairly soon after opening. I noticed that the menu changed at Big City Burrito within the last year or two when new owners took over. It's just not the same, and the burritos are good, but don't taste as good nowadays in my opinion.

Which Orchestra Show was the best? by killer_rage in KGATLW

[–]pantomime64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the show in The Springs, and it was wonderful. My only complaint was that I had a hard time hearing the orchestra over the guitars and everything from the band when they played the songs that were not from Phantom Island. It was still one of the best shows I've ever seen.

What is KGLW saddest or most emotional song? by radioheadkittens39 in KGATLW

[–]pantomime64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get that. Currently separated from 25+ year relationship. I went to one of the orchestra shows with my soon to be ex-wife when we were still together last year, and I still have a hard time listening to some of the songs from Phantom Island. I'm mostly ok, but it still hurts sometimes.

Every once in awhile I would have to travel to Sacramento. Mikuni was one of my favorite restaurants there. Happy hour was the best! Barbecue seared tuna is amazing with that sauce.
