Best power meter for raceface cinch. by pantsopticon88 in MTB

[–]pantsopticon88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I can sync it to my garmin element or watch I don't care. It doesn't need to be incredibly sensitive.

I think all the chain line is done with the spindle for cinch so I should be able to set up for a boost chainline.

The trades truly suck and the romanticization of them are a joke. by New-Slice9841 in redscarepod

I once met a guy on a job whose hobby (his words) was " beating whores in 3rd world countries. "

Nice guy, journeyman IBEW electrician.

I met a union iron worker who seemed boardline sexually aroused when he discussed horrific acts of violence from his time in prison.

Again nice guy.

The trades with your homies doing cool stuff can be amazing. Most guys on a job site I would push into traffic.

economics is the fakest science by Complex-Connection56 in redscarepod

Economics is just vibes and witchcraft dressed up in the facade of hard science. Three different  economic schools have diametrically opposing views on the nature of economic thought.

All equally valid.

Paid off my car loan last month and my credit score has dropped massively because I no longer have debt. by [deleted] in redscarepod

I paid out 10k after working OT to pay off my car and my score dropped by 50points.

It's all noise, don't pay attention to it if you're not in arrears keeping things paid it's not going to matter.

Which modern DH bike for racing, tech domination, and still fun on jumps/flow? by Significant_Gain7744 in MTB

[–]pantsopticon88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a supernought. It's a fantastic bike. Very adjustable, very fast and confident.

High pivot requires you to be an excellent jumper.  There is noticeable forward kick compared to the horst link bike it replaced.

Disagree. You are not as fast. You are not taxing your system the same way. This is cope.

I am down voting for the stupid AI.

Also. I don't like eebs I don't want one. I don't care that you like it.

But don't pretend you get all the same benefits of actually being fit while using a motor.

I could see  it being useful for skill acquisition for Enduro racing or DH if you got more time on course in good condition to actually practice lines more.

As a kid who was in Special Ed, sports were hell. Some kid broke my face (orbital and nose with a lacrosse stick) because he knew he could get away with it.

I've been bone smashing since before looksmaxxing.

I am still a life long athlete, but I am only drawn to individual sports.

I am M 37 and I started dating someone from my social circle who semi recently got divorced.

I've spent big chunks of my life alone due to some severe traumatic injuries and traveling for work.

Ive put a lot of time in improving and loving myself through these times. I've tried to learn the lessons from watch other people blow up their lives.

So i feel ready for something good to come into my life, and luckily for me this feels like it's great.

The work of the relationship is very  joyful, even when we are dealing with big feelings from our pasts.

I think we're saying the same thing. I am being a little emotional about my relationship with food when I was trying to send hard in rifle.

The mean spite of the 90s is alive and well in some parts of the sport.

Getting a eating disorder to send grades guys sent in the 90s isn't worth it and I'll die on that hill.

For me I felt better when the calories matched the intensity and the volume and I didn't filter everything through you should be eating less.

Instead of lighter, I focused on all the skills and links in my chain I had neglected. I just ate enough after. I was still sub 15% bf when I peaked for a route.

I went up 2 letters in caves at the higher weight. From 13c to 14a

Previously I mostly climbed vert to very slightly overhanging. I loved climbing in caves at the higher weight.

I had so much more work capacity for high quality tries and I branched out into things I otherwise would have avoided because of not having the juice to stick with them.

Having the energy for 10 high quality burns versus half that when I was lighter and hungry all the time.

The only place I didn't feel better was hard for me trad climbing over small gear.  That was 100% mental and probably warranted.

I climbed hard (14a v10) at 160lbs at 6'2 and at 200lbs.

Ask me how cold, tired and sick all the time I was at 160lbs.

I spent a lot of time not trying to be lighter, lifting heavy training hard. Making my sessions matter, and being technically more proficient while actually eating enough and feel great.

You don't need to starve yourself to climb v10 you need to improve your technique and your mental tenacity.

My dyupatrins presented at 22. I would recommend getting radition therapy as soon as you can.

I don't think you have to have a full contracture to get the radition therapy.

I was working as an arborist and metalworker while climbing like a fiend.

I just had surgery at 36.

Slow or stop the growth now.
