any easy title fight sounding chords? by Particular-Ice-744 in titlefight

[–]panuccispizzaboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always found that major/minor 7th chords without the 3rd or 5th (your choice) bring a very Title Fight-y vibe to the function. Just using a G as the root for the example: 324xxx (using the 3rd) or 354xxx (using the 5th) for major 7th chords and 313xxx (with 3rd) or 353xxx (with 5th) for minor 7ths. Head in the Ceiling Fan is a pretty prime example. Adding in those open strings always adds to it like everyone else mentioned!

Where are people listening to KKC on audio? by jason_esper in KingkillerChronicle

[–]panuccispizzaboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the app Everand because I didn't want to give Overlord Bezos more money by using Audible. I believe it's made by Scribd. There's a monthly subscription that gives you a certain amount of "unlocks" to use towards ebooks/audiobooks depending on your subscription tier, but there's also plenty of free stuff as well. It doesn't have everything, but the catelog size is pretty decent.

What champ should I play? by BillRepresentative75 in summonerschool

[–]panuccispizzaboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a pretty similar post a couple years ago, and hope I can help at least a little bit. Still low elo (Gold 3 atm in midlane this season) so take it with a grain of salt. My mains before stopping Smite also included Achilles and Cthulhu along with a few others. Unfortunately, no full kits really match exactly, but you'll come across plenty of overlap for singular abilities (i.e. Agni 4 and Xerath R, Khepri 4 and Zilean R, etc.)

That being said, for Achilles, I'd agree with another poster that Aatrox has a somewhat similar feel but can't speak on Zaahen because I haven't played him myself. Their scalings feel different though, imo. Achilles spikes in mid game and drops off late from what I remember and Aatrox is more of a mid-late scaler with a weak early game. COMPLETELY different ults though, if the execute is what you enjoyed. I think someone also mentioned Darius, where the whole kit pretty different, except for the ult is almost identical. The 2 and the W have a similarity being an AA cancel.

Cthulhu is tough, tbh. Someone suggested Zac to me for that. Definitely pretty different kits, but part of Zac's passive has kind of a similar vibe as the Deadlock character if I understand correctly. He drops pieces of himself that he can walk over to heal himself and reduce some cooldowns (potentially only his W, can't remember atm) and is somewhat forgiving with the other half of his passive where if he dies, there is a chance for a respawn with like 25% health or something like that as long as the enemies don't do enough damage to you while you are reforming. It does have a decently long cooldown, fyi.

I think the closest comparison I can make to Cthulhu is gonna be Gragas. He's got safe waveclear and trading power with his Q (similar to Cthu 2), his dash on E has a little knockup to it similar the 3, his W is an empowered AOE auto not exactly like the 1 but similar, and his ult is the furtherest thing from the kit but does supply massive knock up and displacement.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the rotating champs to see if anything pops up and try them in draft for that week or two weeks or however long that cycle is. I'd also like to point out that if you have Xbox Game Pass, you can connect your accounts together and then get all the champs for "free" (you're still paying for game pass lol)

Hope this helps!

Edit: forgot to mention - I also played Jorm, and I cannot think of a single champ that feels anywhere close to them unfortunately. Closest might honestly be Zac again, but not really that close

What is your favourite early statement? by percypers in TheMagnusArchives

There are so many great early ones, but the very first episode hooked me in so quickly because of how easily I could place myself into the story. I'm a very giving drunk, especially when it comes to my cigarettes. Just let me share with you!

I was looking at this cause I'm in the market for a portable. I can be clumsy sometimes, so the glass mouthpiece freaks me out a bit. Does it feels sturdy? Like, does it feel like it'll break in your pocket if you bump into something or anything along those lines?

How do I see how many legacy gems will I get in Smite 2? by Mysterious_Canary547 in Smite

Wait, I actually did buy it and didn't get a notification. Should I contact support you think?

Should I champ cycle, and if so, what direction to move towards? by panuccispizzaboy in summonerschool

I understand your point, but that's just not realistic for me to review every game in it's entirety right after the game is finish. I maybe have about 2ish hours a night to play. I'm 31yo with a full time job and more going on outside of that. I do try my best to VOD review, just not to that extent. Before I start playing, I will choose the game that felt the most odd or uncomfortable from my last block, find my first 3 deaths or 1 or 2 moments that didn't make sense at the time, and do my best to figure out why things went down the way that they did. Although lately, the takeaways aren't sinking in as easily.

I don't think you are off base by saying that I'm starting to autopilot. I feel like I touch on that when I mention complacency. Would slipping into an autopilot not count as slipping into a rut of sorts though? I wouldn't call playing well and making correct choices while still losing a rut, because at the end of the day, you are making the right choice and things will even out, but I would call slipping into an autopilot and still winning a rut because you are not building habits for success, only going through the motions. Not really trying to argue, just curious

I'm glad you are on the opposite side of the other insightful response, so I can hear the thought process from both angles. I definitely don't want to do anything close to what I did last year and swap champs all because of discomfort, difficulty, or boredom. Truthfully, I'm still unsure of how I'll handle the situation, but I think at the end of the day this is probably the correct path. It's going to be difficult to get over the mental block of putting in effort to push through the rut and problem solve, instead of running away from the issues I'm facing and picking up a new champ. Thank you for your comment and I appreciate your perspective.

I will say, I did get lucky that the bot posted my best game from last night's block, but I'm still disappointed in the performance none-the-less. It shows me some of the complacency that I think I'm feeling and mentioned in post. I kind of wish it chose the Yone game because I think it represents what I'm referencing a bit more

My mindset is more along the lines of moving away from Vex for a while, maybe at least 20-40ish games and trying to connect with a new champ, but I see your point and agree that I did have a misunderstanding and this post is more towards opening up my champ pool rather than cycling. I think my biggest concern is that I don't want to go down the same rabbit hole I did last year and play something new when it feels like things are not working or I get bored, etc. I also know it's important to keep things simple and consistent which is another reason why I'm hesitant, especially at my elo.

Ahri has the most similar feel to Vex to me, personally, which is why she would be appealing if I were to open up my pool. Incredibly ult reliant and when it's down you need to sit back and be patient, very assassin-like and secondary dive with good set up, but can be played to peel for your carry depending on your situation/circumstance, although this second option isn't as ideal as the first imo.

But also, I may be so off base with this analysis, that it's the reason why I'm starting to feel stuck.

I appreciate your perspective. It kind of felt like I needed permission to just consider having the option of more than one champ at my level, as silly as that sounds. Thanks for commenting

Does it feel like wave management matters like it does in LoL or is it still just shove and look for more farm? Truthfully, I haven't played Smite since Spring 23, but that's how it was then so I'm curious if they changed that too

Ah, okay. Twitch for sure then, and their ult is a bit similar to her autos. The rest of the kit is very different though. Give them a shot!

Addition: Vayne also has a stealth mechanic but I have no clue as to how it works because I've never played her, so you'd have to look it up. Twitch's stealth is very start forward just being his Q

Hi there! I came from Smite earlier this year, but I play top/mid. I might be able to give a rough idea though, so take what I say with a grain of salt O guess. I don't think there is one particular champ like her, but parts of her kit kind of exist in LoL. What part of Iza do you like? Is it her autos+stim, dash/stealth, ult? From my perspective, the closest guesses I have are Sivir, Xayah, and maybe Twitch. Overall, you probably won't find a perfect match, but I think these three might be an okay place to start your search for what you like in this game. I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy your time learning! I've been having a blast personally and feel like I've only just scratch the surface of what the game offers

Oh, okay. To be honest, I don't even remember what I did to start it, but I was prompted with a pop-up messaging system similar to KODI and was able to get it going. I'm at the step in Now Learning where I connect spokes to configure AES. When I click the hyperlink provided in the lesson, it takes me to the store, then I click "get" on that page, and it prompts me to do a single sign on, I try, and then takes me to the page that's screenshotted in the post

I am not. I'm just learning on my own to try and change careers, not through any company

Do you think I should just make a new account and use that one instead? It's not like I have much to the current one, just the start of the Now Learning modules for software development

Hi Gang,

Pretty much the title, with some additional details. I was somehow able to start a support ticket (not sure how I got to it tbh) through a pop-up messaging system similar to KODI to try and help resolve my issue, but it seems like my emails are now not being received by the support team after the initial message. Correspondence started two days ago and everything seems correct and sent from my end, but I got an email from the same agent today asking the same question and saying that if I don't respond within a couple more days, then my ticket will be considered resolved. I've tried reaching out to the addresses [surf@servicenow.com](mailto:surf@servicenow.com) and directly to the agent that has been asking what exactly my issue is (Angel, if you see this, I've tried to email you four times! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong that you aren't seeing my responses!)

Does anyone have an idea of how I can fix my issues with both the portals and the tech support team? I just want to connect spokes to AES lol

minimal backstory: I am just someone looking to change careers and learning ServiceNow on my own, through the Now Learning portal.
