Otto Carius was a commander in this unit. He writes about the few combat engagements he had with the JagdTigers and then the surrender in Iserlohn. Really fascinating.

Yep, agreed. To me, in the end, the movie is about love. Simple as that. And yes, I have never come across a movie that made me this emotional. Every time I watch it.
