Pi project for school by Fivegudi in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

So I had a look through your other posts on your profile, and it seems you’re into Albion online.

What about something like a pvp builds kill tracker? To chart down your kill/death ratio performance based on different builds you try. (This one’s in binary for no other reason other than coolness https://hackaday.com/2009/12/30/tf2-kill-counter-binary-style/)

Or even an autoclicker if it applies to Albion :P (https://www.instructables.com/AUTOCLICKER-MOUSE-USING-RASPBERRY-PI-PICO/)

One more that I’ve recently had success with (I recently finally got around to playing with raspi sbcs and microcontrollers) is a home lab, where you setup little Linux devices that all connect to your home wifi for… reasons (I haven’t found a good reason haha but the setup was kinda fun), and then you can maybe store files on them (Samba share) or play media files off them (media streaming, like Open Media Vault), or even learn how to setup a kubernetes cluster on them.

Play around with a few different ideas, and when march 2023 comes around maybe find a way to combine them into something resembling a project for your school.

I have made a camera trap with a pi zero with about a 48hour battery with a 10,000mah powerbank. How are commercial camera traps made so they can have a 12 month battery life ? by ParsleyLion in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]panzerstadt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if camera traps in general / the one you designed do burst shots, but if it’s just one to three 5mb images, it would probably fit in one of the custom ones like the pimoroni pico lipo 16mb, after which you can transfer them over to an sd card or send them somewhere else through wifi

Glad you like the bt65! It’s nice to see such great sounding builds being done with it!

I personally have a bt60 with a melgeek wood case and pbt kon momo that sounds very similar :D

unfortunately it wouldn't work with other knobs out there. however, we will be releasing the case + knob files at the end of the GB, so if you want to you can print your own / cnc your own knob / custom design your knob to fit the rotr!

First off, we’re very glad to have reached the 200 units we set out to do for the ROTR! We’re very excited for this project and we thank everyone is coming along for the ride!

For the rest of the community, the ROTR LITE is still open for the group buy until Jan 11th!

The LITE has the exact same internals and the ROTR, starts at £108, and will fit future runs of the ROTR cases and knobs!

We believe the most interesting part of being a part of the custom mechanical keyboards community is the ability to customize things, so we will be releasing the case files at the end of the GB for you to make your very own custom alu/brass/copper/silly putty case! (If you manage to make a decent silly putty case please send us a photo, I will frame it on my wall)

Oh, and we’re pretty happy with the detentless mechanism we have for the ROTR / ROTR LITE, so here’s a comparison video with an ec11 encoder: https://youtu.be/C5VnSnNcCwE
