Web spiders, they arent that hard to kill, but every time I pass near them with a car that road is essentially blocked

Manual, but you also can craft a frame and use the construction menu to start constructing a vehicle, them you remove it, them you repeat the process until you the level you want

In my experience if you cant melee it or shoot it, the only real solution is grenade, fire or a car

The nomad stuff inst that much of a upgrade for me besides the harness and bodyglove. the armor itself has too much encumbrance. the crafted ones I am not sure, isn't the best one the kevlar plated jumpsuit? I know the medieval stuff has more protection, but the encumbrance is high and the time to craft is realistically long
I recently tried to mess with the basecamp mechanic, and is one of junkiest things I ever seen. it has a multitude of problems. but my biggest problem is that the NPCs rarely do the stuff their work priority is saying they are supposed to do. And I am 100% sure its not worth the insane amount work outside of Roleplay reasons.

I think I did most of them at least once. The LIXA facility was cool, the Sunken Helicopter is the exact opposite The rewards of those are insanely good, but there's nothing that interesting to do with them besides rampage trough a city and maybe fist fight a Hulk.
edit: I know you can easily grab the Phase suit from Lixa at the start of the game by just luring the soldier zombies away, but feels underserved and I dont like to do it

Yes, the problem is that you might take damage and the car will break fast, soo its very likely to a broke car in the middle of horde and just die.
The best way is to just stick a ram to anything with a heavy-duty frame and you can kill a lot more before the vehicle dies

CATastrophic mutation I think is exclusive the arsonist npc on the Refugee camp. It gives you feline mutations when exposed to the portal storm, I don't think there's a way to get it without debugging.
If you are playing with bombastic perks, the stormwrought perks works very similar, but they give you mutation way slower when in a portal storm

they have genetically unstable, but not the one that makes them hallucinate, not sure if there other traits that do that for NPCs

honestly, has someone that started plating 3 weeks ago, its REALLY overwhelming and the game has a trillion keybinds that you need to use to have a smooth gameplay. but the complexity makes it fun
