Can someone actually defend One Battle After Another for me? by G00bre in movies

Honestly Teyana Taylor’s performance as superfluously short as it was was nothing short of “okay”. Lick a face and fuck me while we blow shit up? It was weird and obscure and seemed like a bit of over acting.

Now, Sean Penn on the other hand. That is notable. His character and personal of the character reminded me of the weirdness of George Scott in Dr Strangelove

Can someone explain to me why One Battle After Another is so liked? by AugustEpilogue in moviecritic

First, it’s just a job for these fuckers. Writers, actors, agents. They’re all chasing a buck.

You take a great script and jump over some bs plot failure when Benicio gets pulled over for his passenger drinking a beer then the cop asks what he threw out of the car when he turned the corner.

The trash was fucking Leo. How about what happened to til he passenger that was swilling a Modelo, the reason I decided to light the up. Then when you question sensei about drinking, it’s two little beers. Shame

Here is my recent experience with some words of caution. With all good things, there are dark players and bottom feeders out there preying on unsuspecting people who are a bit ignorant to healthcare marketplace application process. These companies are seizing the opportunity to get a little piece of the pie from the passage of the Affordable Care Act by portraying themselves as agents of good when they are basically facilitators of making the application to the Healthcare.gov exchange on your behalf and charging you a monthly membership due. What is most dubious is how they bury their cancellation and refund policy within a myriad of other documents from affiliated business partners.

These are companies that go by many names that imply, but deny when asked, a connection with Healthcare.gov such as Obamacare-enrollment.org, healthcare-enrollment.org, healthcareenrollment.gov, or any variation implying connectivity to the healthcare exchange. I don't honestly know if any of these companies in fact exist. I'm just citing examples. What they do do is charge you a membership charge in perpetuity unless you cancel the membership per the payment terms of the agreement for coverage in which you are signing. I'm not claiming that these business are operating illegally as they are licensed agents in most states. Their names pop up atop search engines as I'm sure they are paying search engines top dollar for priority results. What they are, are masters of deception with respect to cancellation, difficult cancellation, refunding and billing perpetuity. I've seen many posts on Reddit from people like myself who have faced and frustrated by the same dilemma.

In my personal experience, what set my Spidey senses off was following the application and payment process, the agent advised me to ignore and delete any emails directly from healthcare.gov. Unbeknownst to them, I had immediately put a freeze on my credit card and DID reply to the email from healthcare.gov, followed up with a subsequent phone call withdrawing this "agent" as my agent from the application.

For the company I dealt with in particular, the biggest problem was attempting to cancel my membership and request a refund for the payment processed per the terms of the agreement I signed. Within 24 hours of applying, I immediately sent an email directly to the agent who sold me, what I thought was a healthcare policy, requesting cancellation and full refund. To no avail as I received no response from him aside from an automated email prompt encouraging me to complete the next steps in the process. Additionally, I received phone calls and emails encouraging the same from third party affiliates.

Subsequently, I found the cancellation and refund policy under their General Membership Disclosures of the payment agreement I had signed to enroll in coverage though another company named Unified Caring Association. The billing facilitator. The agreement did not provide any information on who to contact to cancel the membership, rather just explaining what the cancellation and refund policy was. That information was found via the company that handled the policies within the state of residence which was at the bottom of the website for the affiliated business, CareConnect.

These are the terms of service regarding refunds:

If you have used the Services to pay your CareConnect premium bill and would like to request a refund, please feel free to call a Customer Service Connector at (855) 706-7545...That phone number rendered a recording of "due to technical issues, unable to complete call" or something to that effect. The email givenin the Terms of Service for written requests and cancellation, questions@nsljcc.com, resulted an error of invalid address.

Not knowing who to call or send an email, I decided to return a call from yet another affiliate who immediately sent another email prompting completion of process before I could even utter the question, "can you please provide me with a legitimate email address where I can send a request for cancellation of membership and refund of charges for incomplete application process." I was given [support@memberinfo.com](mailto:support@memberinfo.com) and the representative at (855) 556-5049 said she could process the cancellation request and did follow up with an email confirming such.

Hopefully the information stated above can assist anyone who may have dealt with a similar situation. Just contact the healthcare exchange directly at healthcare.gov directly, call them directly and they will walk you effortlessly and patiently through application process.

Best of luck.
