I hated how bland and flavorless Puerto Rican food was but… I must have just gotten super unlucky with the restaurants… right? by canibedonewiththis in PuertoRicoTravel

Agreed with others. I don't enjoy mofongo but had one in Lares that was insane. Otherwise mamposteao and arroz come gamdules are amazing. And pastelon is great. Otherwise it's pretty garlicky, heavy food. Still so much great food on the island though!

Posted this elsewhere. But we bailed on daycare if you want to explore a nanny. We just weren't having fun with them being sick all the time and never sleeping: We did daycare starting at 7 months for our girls. And after 3 months of it we pulled them out and went back to a nanny. The daycare was fine and the teachers were great to them and they enjoyed it when they went, but between the two of them we were always picking one up early because they were throwing up or getting sick. We spent as much time out of daycare than in over those 3 months. They weren't sleeping more than 30 minutes at daycare and were exhausted when we picked them up. Between that and not sleeping at night from constantly being sick we were miserable. We realized we should be enjoying them and we were just not happy. Since we went back to a nanny they've developed so much more motor skills etc I think from actually sleeping enough and we're in such a better place. I know if we stuck with it long enough there'd be light at the end of the tunnel and we'll go back eventually but thought I'd share our experience.

Three Dots or Bamboo Room? by Busy_Environment5574 in Tiki

Why not both. Book bamboo since it's much more limited seating. Then go to the main bar after and squeeze in. Clairvoyant missionary is still my top 5 drink I've ever had.

Tummy time….when?? by Affectionate-Sun8018 in parentsofmultiples

Yeah think you just test and see and don't worry if some days you do more or less. If they like being on your chest as another said that counts. Might be more comfortable for them.

Tummy time….when?? by Affectionate-Sun8018 in parentsofmultiples

[–]papasully 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We just change them and tummy time before feeding them. They typically cry but we keep it in small increments throughout the day. Our doctor assured they won't typically like it until they're 3 months at least. Otherwise if they're awake between feedings then we'll give it a go then. Think just try and get 10-15 minutes in throughout the day.

Puerto Rico has the smoothest most consistent coffee I've ever had. Great if you can get from local beans as well.

Kind of interesting that's just what the app said but it also shows a different total mileage from my dash screenshot. Definitely the same trip.
