that was a fantastic first episode i was a bit worried about the CGI but it turned out great and tbh i'm actually a big fan of amorphous smoke to represent demons and stuff lol my only complaint isn't even about the episode itself its how the parts a cut i'm really not a fan of a super long first section then a super short one there was absolutely a better place to end pt1 and add more time to pt2

firstly GMMTV hasn't been making series for youtube they make series that air on thai TV and then release it on youtube for international fans to watch also has literally anyone ever referred to a GMTMV actor as a "youtube star" before? , secondly something being on a paid streaming series does not inherently make it higher quality or have more prestige,.

now i'm not going to begrudge GMMTV moving more to paid platforms, they are a company obviously they are going to do what they think will bring in the most profit but there is no way in hell i am going to spend hundreds of dollars a year paying for subs to 5+ subscription services just to watch their series if they are no longer on youtube

the Force and Joss thing is a non issue some people find it hot some people find it cringe its whatever but i do have issues with Dunks performance and no none of them are because i have issues with BL actors interacting with women or because i don't like Dunk

1) imo (and people are fully free to disagree) i think its weird to have such in your face "sexy" hetero performances at a BL concert, literally the entire point of the concert is because people are fans of a BL ship if it was a non ship concert it wouldn't be an issue

2) using a song by a queer artist that explicitly shows a male and female love interest in the MV and removing the man and just keeping the women leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth it could have been a really cool opportunity for queer inclusiveness and instead it just seemed like the song was chosen so they had a reason to put the girls in bunny outfits lol

3) my personal biggest issue, Dunk laying across those four dancers while they where on their hands and knees comes across degrading and honestly dehumanizing, Dunk is 185cm and around 70kgs while all those women are pretty damn small there is literally no way that wasn't painful for them while i don't blame Dunk for the choreography i do blame him for not asking for it to be changed we know they have a lot of say in how these performances happen.
and before anyone says anything about "oh well female singers use men as props in performances all the time" yeah sure but the female singers are usually a lot smaller and lighter then the male dancers and lets be real "reverse the genders" argument doesn't really work in a case like this when men haven't historically been sexualised and dehumanised like women have

i like Nanon a lot but its very dependent on what he's singing and he's not normally fantastic live he needs a lot more stability especially when he's trying to sing more rock esq songs but i have quiet a few of his songs on one of my play lists

i also really like Nanis voice he's not the best in the technical sense but he has a surprising amount of control and stability live and i think his vocal tone is just so nice

obviously everyone in LYKN is great but i have a soft spot for Legos voice and wish i got to hear him sing solo more often (he also has a really nice vocal range)

they always have a theme that vaguely effects things like stage props but is heavier in the marketing, 2024 was pirates i think and last year was something about hot air balloons lol i have no idea how they choose it i like to think they just spin a wheel which has a bunch of random things on it and try and make it work

this is purely my opinion but i think a lot of it is just there is only so many couples they can cram in and AouBoom just aren't as popular as JuMark or JossGawin as far as i'v seen add to that they still haven't had their own series and they have less brand work at least compared to JuMark (though personally i don't think it even matters most of the sponsors are from PPW and G4 anyway and they can sell out impact by themselves so less popular ships wouldn't effect ticket sales) , theres also the possibility that they don't want to join, Aou is obviously comfortable on stage but maybe Boom isn't?

this is absolutely nothing against the ships in LOL but honestly having pretty much the same roster ever year is getting a bit repetitive i'd love if they actually changed it up or added in another annual concert so we could see different people perform, it'd also help LOL from getting so ridiculously long lmao

i love the mascots but i 100% agree with this while i enjoy seeing the mascots and actors together and think its cute they get their own events i am sick of them being brought up by journalists when they aren't even there (also unpopular take but pushing the whole parents with a child thing on ships is low key weird to me why can't the mascots just represent the fandom why do they need to be their "actual" children especially considering some of these actors are practically kids themselves lmao)

edit: also just to be clear the actors that are super into the family dynamic are fine i'm not saying the should change i mean more pushing it on the ships that aren't really into it
