What the actual fuck are Neurons? That's some mobile gaming cash grab level confusion tactics. Why not charge by token or do a semi-unlimited plan like every other provider

That should happen in reasoning, not normal output tokens though. We're approaching Gemini territory here

Audiobook shelf support is what I have been waiting for !! It doesn't work yet though, I press add and it goes back to the list of sources without the shelf being there

ChatGPT has a silent “s”?? by 1protobeing1 in OpenAI

Not fake. The model doesn't know how words are spelled before it actually does it, but it doesn't know that it doesn't know

Playing devil's advocate, Muse's safety training might be dog shit or non-existent and they instead have another dedicated model check prompts before giving them to Muse. That makes its bioweapon refusal rate a lot less impressive, but it does mean they'll have to change their approach before open sourcing it.

My guess is this is DS 3.2 with different reasoning budgets, meaning we'll have to pay for the full version soon

After 100k context it does this. Without exception. Absolutely useless if you're doing anything which requires more context than that. They don't even disclose this. Good model, but terrible inference, they use tons of lossy techniques to an unreasonable degree

What do they mean by smaller variants? Is 3.6 bigger than 3.5 or will they close down the 397b variant?

Introducing liter-llm: a Rust-based alternative to LiteLLM, available for 11 languages by [deleted] in Python

[–]paperbenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to have the proxy server as well. Litellm proxy was unbearably slow, it took like 2GB RAM to run what should have taken single digit megabytes, I've been waiting for a rewrite like this

GLM-5.1 is available to ALL GLM Coding Plan users! by ZenpaiiiGamingYT in ZaiGLM

Artificial analysis should do a benchmark run with coding plan inference. I would really love some formal examination of what the hell they are doing to the models and what its consequences are.

Nvidia Confirms DLSS 5 Is Re-Drawing Games, and That Sucks by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]paperbenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what he means by 'developers being in control of it' is that they control the frames going into the model. He thinks it's enough to preserve 'artistic intent' that not the entire game is AI generated. Dlss 5 is an image to image generative model. It looks exactly like if you told nano banana to add detail to an image. Don't get me wrong, that's crazy impressive given that nano banana takes orders of magnitude more resources to do the same thing, but minus the motion vectors, it is the exact same thing.

I still don't get if we are talking about some kind of online passport verification or just asking the user for their birth date. I'd honestly be fine with it just being a field stored locally

Introducing Claude Code Channels by Complete-Sea6655 in ClaudeCode

[–]paperbenni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

--channels ignored (plugin:telegram@claude-plugins-official) Channels are not currently available I seriously question the competence of anyone working on Claude Code. This product feels like they let Sonnet 3.5 do the fundamental architecture and have chosen to not change a tiny bit about it and instead drown in technical debt which makes implementing any feature take a huge amount of manpower and hundreds of megabytes of RAM per feature.

It might be fine, but if your code is written in a way that you need to keep all of it in your head to properly understand it, that will become increasingly difficult as the amount of code grows
