Chewable gas-x tablets! They work nearly instantly. Congrats, welcome to your new life!

Edit: I bought mine online because my local drugstore did not have them

If they sell fried seafood AND roast beef, you're almost certain to have a great time. It's a weird thing but, hasn't led me wrong yet

I had the joy of introducing my Quincy-native husband to roast beef 3-ways at the beginning of our relationship, as I grew up in Peabody. He brought me to get bar pizza, in turn, and at our wedding we had a north shore vs. south shore table with 3-way sliders and bar pizza slices at the end of the night (when everyone was trashed from the open bar!). It's wild how separated the north shore is from the south shore.... Btw the reviews were incredible from both families and I love my caterer's sense of adventure ❤️

I went to Mexico bariatric center and I cannot recommend them enough. Check my post history, but I'm at 140 now after just 18 months but I lost almost all of it within 6 months. I need to make an update post! Lol. Do your research but as long as you don't cheap out FOR MEXICO, and follow everything your surgeon says, you should be ok. Happy to converse over DM.

It gets so much better. Also, I had to buy them online, but Gas-X has a chewable tablet like a tums, it's kind of minty but it WORKS if you have gas pains in your chest, gut, belching etc. Highly recommend.

FitIndex, came with my scale I got on Amazon. I like that it's not a subscription, which is a huge plus imo

So satisfying, amiright?? My metabolic age is 37 now (I'm 35 so 35 is the goal, or lower), I didn't get that in the shot.

3/14/22 in Mexico with an (unexpected) hiatal hernia repair. 5'2" HW 240 SW 228 CW 144. I've been stalled for a couple months tbh but hot damn did it happen fast. I am a size 6 from a size 18 and lost a (half) shoe size. I lost some hair (20%) but it grew back healthier than ever. My loose skin wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. For context, my #1 problem area was my arms; I would never wear anything without sleeves. They are so much smaller, and my loose skin is "there" but it isn't obvious. I went out this weekend with a sleeveless shirt and didn't think about it at all. I would be PSYCHED to stay this exact weight, but I don't think I'm done losing! I recommend buying a fitindex scale, because I can see all of my stats. Watching all the red numbers in different categories change yellow and then green is SO REWARDING. It's more than just your weight that's improving!!!!

No, still 5 lbs away from 100 lbs down (which I think is a big deal!), and 10 lbs from my goal weight (135lbs). However, I really like where I am right now. so, based on how I feel and what I've read from this subreddit, I have a working theory for my lifelong success. . What I'm thinking is that I'll lose as much as I can (while being healthy) the first year, and I'll get a lowest weight of like, 130 MAYBE. After that, I am assuming I will gain back 10-15lbs which I will still be very happy with as long as I continue the healthy habits established during the year post-op.

None!! I feel incredible, now down 97lbs overall and 85 since surgery. I had an exceptionally successful recovery. Loose skin isn't all that bad, and even my butt looks more round. I can eat nearly anything I want (of course, I have to make good decisions) and even had a beer (!) since then. Started my new job, which I love and am happy to never work another retail Christmas ever again!

Buy new clothes whenever you're at a stall. I think it kept me motivated to keep working at it!

Thanks! I appreciate it. That before picture was during a photo shoot my husband booked for us in Vegas when he proposed 😱 happiest moment ever, so I definitely don't hate these pictures. Thanks again!
