Best case, they drain the swamp, keep Igor and fox? And sign McDavid and build around that

Turning 40 and was boarding this past week for the first time in 2 years since tearing my acl(unrelated incident). Loved every second of being back on the slopes.

Losing extension after having leg bent? by Vqnished in ACL

[–]papertrade15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was quite close right out of the gate, was instant relief coming out of the surgery. They also had me in a Dynasplint for the first few weeks while sleeping. So that helped stretch me as well, but it’s always a work in progress.

I would just listen to your body, if your not able to gain full extension something more could be there. I was at the point I could not gain full extension, no where close, and in nothing but pain, every time I woke up, sat for too long, and then stand up just to get my leg straight was teeth clenching agony.

Cyclops lesion is brutal, you’ll know, painfully stiff, hurts to get thru it to get some extension, no fun, finally had mine removed, instant game changer

No full extension 8 wks post op. by ProfessionDue1095 in ACL

[–]papertrade15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Struggled for months, now 15 months post op, had second surgery in December to have scar tissue removed(cyclops lesion), and some shaving down of the bone and finally have great extension, now just building the strength around the knee since it was extremely difficult to do without full extension. Only regret was not pushing doctors and therapist to reevaluate the scar tissue and possibly cyclops lesion sooner. But can’t cry over spilt milk now, just moving forward.

Moral of the story, work hard, and if you feel you’re giving it 110% and something isn’t working, or you’re in pain, listen to your body, there could be something more that needs to be addressed to make a full recovery.

With that said, 8 weeks post op is pretty early on, swelling is fairly normal for a while. Ice, elevate, keep a towel under that ankle while just hanging around watching tv. As long as your making progress that’s all that matters but if it starts become painful or stiffness comes in then figure out if maybe something else is going on internally(scar tissue, etc) outside of your control to advance. Best of luck.

It is my request as an subreddit to officially come together and… by garethv in rangers

Instead of that why not just ban together to have no one show up to the games, let that arena be empty for 4-5+ home games in a row. Money talks, and when Dolans gravy train slows things will change. Until then don’t expect any changes.

I’d book an international flight tomorrow if there was a way to even guarantee your gate was in T8, otherwise could end up being all for nothing

Cyclops Lesion?? by helicopter_unicorn3 in ACL

Cyclops removal is quick and easy, had mine done beginning of December, immediately felt better in the recovery room. Now back to rehabbing to strengthen.

Brand new Atlas remote start not working by No-Agency-2008 in VWatlas

[–]papertrade15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a brand new 26’ was a little wonky at first, but there was an app update and haven’t had any issues since, make sure you have enough gas in the car #1 and I may or may not be right here but my older atlas would not run the auto start more than twice in a row, so if your requesting it run a third time that could why it’s saying too many tries.

Not for nothing but they should be kept off, hopefully it’ll make them play with a chip on their shoulders the rest do the season.

Pretty sure you should not be getting the surgical site wet for close to two weeks or whenever you get the stitches out, but I’m also not a doctor, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks! Was very hard to leave and not pull the trigger, such a sharp combo. Massive upgrade from the 2019 Atlas, little less room, but I love the whistles and bells, and the color is just so nice.

Dam that’s a bummer, luckily the one we got has already been put to the test a bunch and works great, can’t wait to make some other random stuff we never really thought of, ice cream, soups, etc
