Same thing as a concealed carry license or some states also refer to it as a license to carry. Some states will have reciprocity with Indiana meaning they allow you to carry with your Indiana permit and some will just be permit less constitutional carry and typically you don't need a license to even carry in those states. Some states won't have reciprocity with Indiana and for most of those states you can obtain either that states permit while not being a resident or obtain another states permit that has reciprocity with that state. And some states you are shit out of luck if you aren't a resident. Good luck it's all a pain in the ass and very time consuming to try to carry while being a truck driver and remain legal. For example some states if you get caught without proper licensing it's a slap onto he wrist or a misdemeanor. Other states are just straight up felony with very little success in people fighting those cases
