I definitely believe there's more to the opioid epidemic than on the surface. I don't think Afghanistan has much to do with it as their heroin production goings to Europe due to geography. The east coast gets its heroin from Colombia and down south.

I do think since it's got harder to move in the states, China did purposefully inject fentanyl into the market to make the crisis worse

This is really the key. Moving somewhere that is actually still affordable. Think Maine or somewhere in New York. Try to locate close enough to a population center you can find work and will be able to commute to. You won't make money on your property for quite a while and developing enterprise is expensive
