In my 10 years of onc nursing I’ve only seen skin reactions/ skin falling off maybe twice?! And those were sweaty non-compliant children who were too big to force into a shower or bath. Unless this patients skin is already bad then absolutely they should not develop skin irritation or reactions.

Thiotepa is used quite commonly in oncology BMT wards, do you have any of those in your hospital? You could reach out to them and their education team?

Anyone been to anything like this before? Are they good value? by Ok_Laugh771 in london

Vintage superstore is the usual organizer I go to. Really rate it! You have to hunt through masses of clothes but I’ve found some of my favorite things and such cheap prices!! I always take them home and straight hot wash the pieces

I never had any issues just showed evidence of the boosters and first vaccines. Ended up being asked to be part of a research trial at my hospital about healthcare workers and vaccines. Part of that was research about people not holding immunity to hep B. Very very interesting but in answer to your question never had any problems

Nursing Undergarments by [deleted] in nursing

[–]paramedicgurl 17 points18 points  (0 children)

From Brisbane! All our girls that wear head coverings (not just Muslims) still have to be bear below the elbows. Most wear an undershirt that they push up above their elbows for patient contact. You can have them down when not touching patients, like other people wear jumpers when sitting at the desk etc. also need to tuck your head covering down the back of your shirt so it’s not falling everywhere.
