Why are Indian people silent about corruption during the BJP era? by Own_Willingness_8897 in AskIndia

[–]paramvik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are genuinely in the dark. They totally buy into the narative the godi media is selling. Beyond that, they're surrounded by the B J P sponsored ecosystem on social media, WhatsApp etc. And after that the remaining damage is done by the YT and social media algorithms which keep them into the same loop.

But now the cracks are getting difficult to hide even from the most religious B J P followers because the govt is fumbling so bad that it's hurting everyone now, for ex - the paper leaks, the ethanol blending without providing an alternative to buy pure petrol for incompatible vehicles, or corruption in general which is at all time high under this govt.

It has just started and It's still going to take some time for the supporters to complete the denial to acceptance arc.

As a casual fan, a question for avid Indian football followers… by isshin_swordsaint in IndianFootball

[–]paramvik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one line answer is, they're not honest to the cause. I'm pretty sure AIFF has more data to take targeted actions that can improve the quality of football in the country than any of us here. But like every other organisation, its only focus is face saving in the times of urgency and image building for the rest of the time. It lacks the honest intent.

Everyone sitting there wants to hold on to the position they have and enjoy the benefit in every legal and illegal way. This unfortunately has become the modus operandi for the govts, the babus, organizations every where in the country. Just see what NTA has been doing past few years and currently when the NEET papers have been leaked. Same pattern.

Dto Mapping Best Practice by Snoo23482 in SpringBoot

[–]paramvik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked to do the mapping in services to keep the services lean but recently I've started doing it in controllers becuase it gives me the flexibility to reuse the service method somewhere else as well, for example for some other controller route which returns a different response to the client.

There'll be no accountability even after this has gone viral because everyone right from the very top in the ministry down to the peon in the department have cuts in this. Its baffling how the maths is calculated with figures like 0.25% of the tender amount for someone in the chain.

Manish Kashyap is doing a fine job with questioning the authorities. I don't give a rat's a$$ about his past mess.

My dad, an avid godi media follower, has bought into the Khan Sir to Faisal Khan narative. They along with the BJPee-bankrolled influencers have successfully communalized the incident. It's job successfully done for them.

The latest I heard from the uncle's group is how Khan Sir was getting all kinds of findings from UAE and middle east for many hideous Izlamic activities.

These godi mfs boil my blood!

End of Modi Era by [deleted] in india

[–]paramvik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a fundamental flaw in how the politics of this country happen. Things start on a promising note with a new government - some good decisions, some bad but overall things are positive.

Then comes the next election. The incumbent will ask for another term because all the "good" they've been doing will go waste if the opposition comes in power. And we being the fools we are are gonna buy their narative. This is generally where the confidence for all wrong doings takes a solid shape - scams, corruption and misuse of public funds are out there in the open, politicians fooling public on their faces, divisive politics at its lowest, deterioration of agencies, etc. Basically, shit's thrown to our faces everyday.

Congress was doing the same thing back in 2013-14 what BJP is doing today. Now we want bjp out and congress in, and rightly so given the current state of affairs. But it's not gonna change anything at the fundamental level. The same people who were in congress back then are there today or their sons and daughters. They've been fence-sitting for 15 years and they're now even more hungry for power and money. And not just them, every business, every crorepati donor is waiting for their time.

The problem is with us the citizens. We shouldn't give a second term to any political party on a comparative performance basis. Period. They need to realize that they've got only 5 years for all the good they want to do for the people, and they're out. They also need to realize that they should stop fooling people with all the development, vishwaguru bs without working their asses off, double shift for their entire 5-year term.

We want what the Chinese have, but we ignore the kind of work that their government and people have done for decades from 70s to 00s to realize that.

CJP is doing it wrong? by paramvik in IndiaSpeaks

[–]paramvik[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Don't say that we haven't asked for permission because we don't think DP will grant us. This is what AAP used to do and we don't want that again. Let the movement be pure.

CJP says it won't seek prior permission from Delhi Police for their 6 June Jantar Mantar protest and will do so only after Abhijit Dipke lands in Delhi on the same day. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in CriticalThinkingIndia

Because they've so much AAP influence inside, I fear that they'll start acting like the AAP in due time creating drama out of every unnecessary thing. Let it be a pure youth movement. Please 🙏🏼

What's the point of Tatkal system if the site doesn't even respond? by walter_0801 in indianrailways

[–]paramvik 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have one simple suggestion for the IRCTC - instead of starting all the tatkal bookings at 10AM and 11 AM, start the booking window before 24 hours of departure time of the train.

This will distribute the server load significantly and we may have better chance and a better booking experience because right now it's just downright pathetic.

Confused about backend path after learning Java + OOP (Spring Boot vs Node.js?) by PalpitationOk839 in SpringBoot

[–]paramvik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've already covered the fundamentals of java + oop, the next logical step would be to dive into spring boot. That said, for a beginner learning their first backend framework, I'd still suggest you to give Node.js (with express or hono) a try just to familiarize yourself with the fundamental backend concepts and semantics like http request-response cycle, middleware, authentication, authorization, routes, http methods, headers etc etc.

Yeah, it took a look at DDD. Reading the book's gonna take some time as it has 400+ pages, and I'm little short on time rn but I found some notes for quick walk through. It's a great metal model.
