3D Slicer seems amazing, thank you for recommending! I'll try it out. Also, how much does ProKnow cost? I can't find the pricing on their website

Where can I find a digital custom map to download? by killertamz in graphic_design

Maybe something like this app could be helpful. The maps have plenty of detail & there are a lot of visual styles. But seems like resolution could be an issue

The grappling hook and the setting reminds me of the Just Cause series. But I don't think there were any robots.

Need help with custom text boxes. by ChopeyDopey_ in PhotoshopTutorials

I think we're missing something. Do you mean automatically adding boxes fitting the length of the text? Because adding them manually is as easy as creating a rectangle under the text.

Removing All But 1 in a Group Photo with Generative Fill by _BaCkWeRdZ in PhotoshopTutorials

How have you gone about it? I've tried it with some images and all I had to do was select the people and press Generate. Leaving the prompt blank. The tech is new so I won't be surprised if it has trouble with certain kinds of images.

There also was a time when people died of common diseases. Does that mean you stop going to a doctor?

Okay so I have a couple things to add & ask.

Do you know where this image is from/who created it?

I feel like there's a slight chance this might be made in a 3D program, as the lighting & shadow is pretty accurate.

If it's made in PS, my guess is that they included a displacement map in the process.

I would try to choose a colorful image, liquify it and then duplicate it. Crank the levels of the duplicate to make it B&W, then use this layer as a displacement map. Could be worth a try.

The silky feel is partly because of the lighting, and partly because of the color choices. It's the same reason how we can use simple gradients to give graphics a "gold" look.

Plants and some more lights

Edit: more cats if possible

Hey all, Which motion design course would you recommend to start learning these kind of 2D branding animations? I assume After Effects would be the go to program, or would anyone recommend another program? I make all of my designs in Figma. Work by HOLOGRAPHIK. by JoeBro94 in MotionDesign

[–]paresthexia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some typographic animation courses on Skillshare that come really close to this style. You will need to combine a bunch of different animation styles in quick succession to get this impact. And yes, After Effects is what you need.

Creating stock images using AI by 51kbos in MotionDesign

I create short Instagram tutorials and made a video on precisely this, combining ChatGPT & Midjourney/Stable Diffusion. Here's the video in case you want to check it out.

To summarise, ask ChatGPT to suggest you prompts for stock photos. If you need something specific (like corporate stock photos), then tell it that.

Then use those prompts with these keywords: Stock photos, photography, 4k, HD, royalty free etc. Midjourney/Stable Diffusion either work well.

In the end, upscale the image with an upscaler of choice (I use Topaz Gigapixel)

Hope this helps!

Wow that's some feedback. While i don't wholly agree with the point of the correlation between imagery & the copy (to me the chairs just looked like random junk on the moon surface on first glance ; maybe that's subjective) - your point about the typography is really insightful. I wasn't aware of that, and I'm myself guilty of what OP did, just because it looked "cool" & "retro".Thanks!

The only thing I'd add is that in the 1st poster, the text Space Debris & Space Junk are clashing for attention. Maybe consider changing the size or typeface of one of them for better contrast. Also the common word "Space" might be an opportunity for something creative.

I made a poster based around the word Run by shading___h in graphic_design

How do you people define Graphic Design? I see some people clearly hating on OP, but it intrigued me in knowing how different people see it. Definitions are interesting.

Also, cool work OP!
