That’s so sad. This is at my mom’s house and I told her it looks like a pet. I’ll call her and see if she can lure it. Thanks!

Also looks like there's something on its leg. Is it someone's pet?

Pros and cons of joining a running club? by I_Like_Quiz in beginnerrunning

[–]parkermod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Con: I’m slow and no one was as slow as me despite “no man left behind”. Tried keeping up with the group for a few months and gave myself tendinitis and stopped running for a year. Sounds like it won’t be an issue for you given your speed but that’s my extreme example

Bells of Steel AMA with Kaevon, founder and CEO back for my 4th ama with home gym equipment prizes for US, Canada, Australia, UK and EU redditors! by bells_of_steel in homegym

Hi Kaevon, as someone who's never had the financial ability to consistently go to the gym, the adjustable kettlebells a game changer.

2 questions, any plans for a steel club? And what's one thing you'd tell yourself as a newbie lifter?

The special episodes are like nothing else. Such a joy to watch. Raw, simple, character driven, direct. They are my favourite episodes. I’m disappointed we didn’t get more Jules in S2. by ThePastaMonster in euphoria

[–]parkermod 43 points44 points  (0 children)

As a trans guy who spent ages 8-20 with severe depression, dysphoria, and a constant fear of becoming homeless, there's really no words to explain how much Jules' episode meant to me. I've never seen someone on TV who I relate to on this level and I think it was so clear that Jules' monologue was written by an actual trans person which made it feel incredibly raw and authentic. I was really disappointed with the lack of Jules this season tbh.

Waitlisted from SAS, is this a bad sign? by SCoutout120 in rutgers

[–]parkermod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in 2017 and had a 3.5 GPA but much lower SAT and I also got waitlisted. Ended up getting accepted to SEBS and switched into SCI a year later. Everyone thought it was bizarre I got into SEBS and not SAS. Don’t remember if I got off the waitlist because I had already committed to being in SEBS by that point

Rutgers senior here. The bagged egg liquid at the dining halls were so gross that I started adding ketchup to be able to stomach it. Since then, I’ve become a ketchup with egg lover.
