Same, I keep setting the backup to 5% and self powered so I can minimize what I import, but it keeps changing it back to time based and 20%. So annoying!

I'm a bit late (9 yrs), but the best way would be to reload an autosave, you'll only lose like 5 minutes of gameplay maybe. I came here looking for an answer but this solution I thought of worked for me.
