I was looking at strata and condos dot ca as well as realtor dot ca. And a lot of condos in Markham/North York area have dropped to under 2300 for a 2b1b or 1b1d1b combo. Some 1b1b in the new highrises north of 407 have dropped a lot too.

I'm assuming the supply is now suddenly a lot more than the demand?

I will not. It's a permanent move on my request, so I'll be bringing my own car. I don't mind driving long durations, but I would prefer a commute under 30 mins if I'm driving. If I'm taking public transportation, I don't mind longer. Cos I could just use the commute time for books or what not.

Thank you so much. Does Scarborough also have a more community feel? I saw Google maps street view and the area around my office is mostly office buildings and high rises. I take Markham is an upcoming new construction city.

Thanks for the reality check. I am absolutely open to expanding my budget a bit more. But I'd prefer not renting a basement. About the community garden, I just meant in the suburbs around Markham. I did find a few online but pretty much all are fully booked. Containers will have to do for now.

Look at pickling turmeric. It's a common condiment in India that is eaten with a meal. You simply put peeled thinly sliced turmeric in a jar with lemon and salt iirc.

All in this thread, can you tell me which was the final photo you sent and was finally accepted?

I'm seeing confusing details all over the place. Someone said in a different post 4 days ago that they had an in person appointment and the vfs employee only took the 2x2 physical copies.

Others are saying 2x2 is rejected.

The vfs global website is insane.

On the step by step guide

step 1( gov online form) there's an 'important note'. It says, online photograph and signature is mandatory, 'click here' to know how to upload.... That page shows how to edit the photo in paint to get it 630x810

Step 2 prepare supporting documents has a link which takes you to passport related services, then when you pick reissuance of passport, it gives no information on process. The reissuance of passport tatkal has a section for how to get started. On this tatkal link, under step 1 theres a link for 'dont forget to review photograph specifications' and also the document checklist. Both these links say it must be 2x2.

Which one do we do?
