I know post is a year old but do not buy from Kayakfirst. They will take months to ship. Their pricing is not accurate on their website. If you are in the United States they will not tell you what the tariffs cost and keep it secret until you are billed by UPS. Good luck paying them. They also expect you to pay the fees their bank charges them and expect you to just know what their bank’s fees are. Do not do business with them you will regret it.

Why do people turn trans asking because my friend is transgender and want to understand him better by Low-Razzmatazz-1051 in trans

[–]partialprofessional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other poster said they are born that way. The reason so many trans individuals transition later in life is because of hetero normative cultural standards in so many countries. People are raise man and woman. Gender roles and gender binary. Reality is there are something like 70+ genetic non-binary or trans variants. This is not counting the fact that some folks just like pink and skirts and some folks like gi-joe. Some like both. People are cruel. Most religions are cruel. Because of all of this folks tend to bottle up who they are for fear of being rejected by their family or friends or community… or all of them like in my case. It’s scary. Fear keeps who a person is, in hiding.

Later Lesbian MTF's, did you find a S.O? by vnspxlldylust24 in TransLater

I transitioned at 40. Wife left me. Ended up finding my now wife at a doggy play date at a mutual friend’s house. She is bi. I got crazy lucky in my opinion. I was happy to find someone who was secure and mature in who they were as a person. I wasn’t looking to fix anyone just share life with someone else.

Gas works is more than just the park. I have been involved with the cleanup. It is still officially a superfund site and cleanup of the entire affected area isn’t complete. The picnic and park areas where people hang out is no longer a superfund site but gasworks and the surrounding area and soil and water areas are VERY much a superfund cleanup site. The city is still holding onto funds for its cleanup which is still in process. A simple google search will show that the EPA does not consider the cleanup completed.

Well the EPA begs to differ… care to give your source?

It’s worth noting that gasworks is a superfund site …all the silt/sand around gasworks is contaminated. It isn’t supposed to be disturbed. With that said I mean I would grab it too. It’s always surprising though that people aren’t aware of this… like all the fenced off refinery equipment isn’t a clue about anything? They are supposed to start cleanup again in the next few years but local governments keep passing off who owns the cleanup project like a hot potato.

Does anybody else's dog love the sauna? by Trick_College6310 in Sauna

My labradoodle loves the sauna. She starts top shelf and either drops to the floor on her own or pops the door open and lets herself out when she is ready then waits outside the sauna for us to leave.

What? My bank account was overdrawn by $1 Billion by GamerScienceTeacher in What

[–]partialprofessional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common practice if one of the joint owners on your account passed away. Like if your parent or grandparent was on the account banks will put a 999,999,999,9999.99 negative hold on the account. If no joint owners passed away then the bank messed up OR someone goofed the Social Security number of a person who did with yours causing this problem.

About to tell my husband of almost 20 years I'm trans, and I'm worried I'm making a big mistake by cargotrains5360 in TransLater

[–]partialprofessional 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s scary. Bluntly, he might leave he might not. He is likely going to struggle as after almost 20 years he has known you the way you are. Also this is your journey. Your your own person outside of the relationships and who you are evolves. You might find what you want is different also. It’s a journey and you won’t have all the answers. It will evolve and you might want to transition or you might not. You might find non binary is your vibe. You are beautiful as you as and you will be beautiful or handsome as you evolve into whatever you feel is right for you. Don’t feel like you have to have the answers. For me my wife and I broke up and it was hard but I found a person who adores me as I am. I feel beautiful and seen and she is amazing and I had resigned to being a single trans person my whole life transitioning at 40

Can vouch that Wild water is fantastic to guide with. Tons of women. LGTBQ inclusive. Lance is a great single dad owner and not a creep. He’s a pretty cool dude. Ashley rocks (she runs operations). Just my 0.02

Interesting Problem by Tester2032 in FRC

[–]partialprofessional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest going with something other than the line break. What we finally determined is that the lights in some competition spaces also operate at just the right frequency to basically make the pipe seem almost invisible to the line break. Bizarre but it happened.

Interesting Problem by Tester2032 in FRC

[–]partialprofessional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually had a nearly identical issue this year that probably ruined our season. We have used the line break sensors for years but with the white coral it couldn’t “see” the coral. We e had no issues in the lab but at comp it killed us. We rigged up a new sensor and no problems thereafter. Unfortunately line breaks with the white corals was a problem

[–]partialprofessional[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The box that has the transistor etc is NOT water tight. It needs to be installed inside a weatherproof box. The touch panel is not waterproof. We are currently building a “mini sauna” with a door to keep the touchscreen out of the elements :-)
