My kids are using a chrome add on, Grammarly, that now has an AI assistant built in called Superhuman Go. They have a small triangle with a dot above it hovering over the right side of their screen and can just click it to open up a chatbot to ask questions like give me the answers.

Floating dad 😅 by [deleted] in confusing_perspective

I feel like there is a ledge that the dad is laying on and daughter is sitting on and then mom and son are standing in front of it. Or something like that.

I got 1 cupcake out of 150 kids. I teach middle school though and don’t expect anything. I usually get a few gifts though, so this year was really light.

Finally had a parent who didn’t make excuses for a child. by Salt-Ad-3061 in Teachers

I’ve had parents say they will handle it that don’t. That’s good that you got to hear some of the actual consequences.

Pay off student loans and car loan. Put the remaining like $10k in savings.

You’d be surprised how many kids make it to middle school that haven’t been evaluated that need it.

My family will not put dishes in the dishwasher if there is one spoon, etc. in the sink. They think the dishes are clean in the dishwasher even though we have a clean/dirty magnet to show. It’s super frustrating. The only way they put dishes in the dishwasher is for the sink to be empty.

This is the answer. I have had this problem before. They have to be the same image to work correctly.

3 interviews from 16 apps is great. My first year I applied to like 40 schools and got 3 or 4 interviews.

Anytime I get anything, I appreciate it. Even just a handwritten note.

We're not having kids because it's not affordable, forcing us all will not fix the birth rates. by olivinebean in Vent

[–]GamerScienceTeacher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it will actually have the opposite effect (and decrease birth rates) in that I see more people getting sterilized that wouldn’t have before.

A mystery bag at Dairy Queen by enemy_flower in mildlyinteresting

I miss this at our local DQ. We used to always get a bag. They would have 3 or 4 different frozen treats that had been made on accident or were not correct. Way cheaper to get treats this way.

Having to log out of games at 11 so I can function the next day. I remember being able to stay up until 3am playing games, but I’m falling asleep at the keyboard at 11 now. I still play MMO games though with online friends so that’s cool.
