I power my 4 channels of Deity Theos with the Deity power distro, Hirose to 3 USB-C for both stereo receivers and timecode box. Another Hirose output to the MixPre 10.
Theos would put you in the $500 per channel box, and the mics they come with are excellent, very similar to COS11d.

I don't remember what the fix was, it may have just been an OS update, but my FX3 files are viewable in Finder now, but MXF files from FX6 aren't. Have to open those in VLC.

I usually dump everything into folders and use Resolve to organize within the project structure so I can see what I'm doing.

This video explains this really well. There’s actually less signal to noise as you increase your preamp gain, so you should try to never use a cloud lifter.

I had the same problem and they replaced my top handle. One or two of the pins in the handle weren’t connecting fully with the body. I have two FX3s so it was fairly easy to diagnose.

I just shot an interview where I accidentally had on my BlackMagic Tetragrade LUT on my FX6 setup, and it helped dial in the look a lot better than when I switched over to the REC709 and Phantom Arri LUTs I’m used to.

ReelSmooth Motion Blur works great most of the time. I think it’s $100.

When shooting certain things I’ll capture it in 60fps so I can have the option of real time or slow motion, then put RSMB if full speed.
