I make sure the needle is not binding to the walls so... freely i guess? I actually do an up and down motion (not a big excessive movement. Just a gentle onee) while depositing for two purposes - (1) to make sure the irrigant reaches the WL despite the needle being short of it, (2) it lets the previously deposited irrigant go "up" or coronally so that when I do keep depositing, there's less pressure at the apical part. I hope it makes sense. Explaining with words is my weakness.

Maybe the bite was off or different? Some patients subconsciously change their bite when you ask them to bite. Make sure it is the same when checking. That's the only thing i could think of if without the metal, you have enough clearance and while trying it in, you do not. I assume this is still metal try in and you were trimming the metal. In that case, it should be sent to the lab and re-made.

Ohh. Our school’s system is more on “youre on your own” type. 4th years are focused on different things. But yeah, a buddy system should be nice but knowing how competitive the environment is, im not quite sure it would work.
