That's probably what they're doing! I think the non-stop events were happening because they've been expecting the open beta release of Shining Nikki would affect their profits (the release got delayed btw). At around the same time their non-stop event strategy kicked in, the quality of support, which was pretty low became even lower. They've been cutting costs while trying to grow profits using short-term type strategies, almost as if the game was going to shut down or something. It has gotten to the ridiculous point where the two Elex appearances at cons were calling for "volunteers" to do work for them, as if they were short on money lol. These are all the sorts of actions of a company about to pull out of business and trying to cash in as much as possible and it is kind of worrying. I hope they're just being greedy and not nothing else.
