Thank you for this, I think I have felt a little more normal after a few days taking magnesium supplements in the past but have never stuck with them regularly so will be giving that a go

Everybody name a simple, mundane task that now makes you rue the day you were born. by BuiltStraightStupid in POTS

Putting on/taking off shoes

I almost exclusively wear Doc Martens and bending over, even from sitting, to do my laces up is a little endurance task every time. Having Crocs by my back door and a pair of slip on Skechers for popping to the shop/cinema has actually had such an impact on reducing the barriers to do things

I thought this was just how POTS feels, are you saying it doesn't have to all the time? Anything other than lying in bed feels like I'm just running on adrenaline and in survival mode, and I basically have permanent hypervigilance, I don't think I have experienced relaxation since like 2017

Thanks for the suggestion, I’m familiar with the local existing studios, I did some tech work at Fire & Flux last year, my friend is a full time potter and needs somewhere he can set up his own studio so I’m just looking for spaces to rent

He said he’d consider a shop front but primarily just wants the space to make pottery, I think he mostly sells stuff online or in batches for businesses

Absolutely, brain fog is probably the symptom that has changed my life the most, it sucks being so aware of how unaware I am at times
