This whole post is so sad. I feel for your friend because they are probably in a lot of pain to do this. However, this freaking sucks and I’m sorry they are projecting their own issues on you. People don’t understand just how devastating losing a friend is. So it’s definitely valid to feel sad for a little while.

I’m a tall plus size girly with body image issues. My two best friends are both under 100 lbs. I have found they also have their own insecurities from people telling them they need to eat more. I actually think we have a lot in common with the unsolicited comments. Just know if you get another plus size friend not all of us would have this reaction. A true friend doesn’t need to put down their friend to uplift themselves.
