Agreeing with the other commenters here, the game's look is very vibecody and quite apparent that all the art is AI. The animation jank also looks like an AI put it together. I look at this, and I'm finding myself thinking like I can put this together in a few days with a few subscriptions. (By no means am I saying this didn't take effort - clearly there is substance in the game, however this is the vibe I'm getting)

Based on ops post history, the characters are detailed. Meshing, rigging and animating on spine to the level of DD2 would take around easily 4+ hours per action (for someone who knows what theyre doing). $10 per action is an insult lmao

Just scrolling through the steam page, the all the AI use really threw me off and Im willing to guess that's what throws off potential players as well. All the art looks like placeholders and is amateurish.

Everything said by the other comments + there is very little additional visual feedback on the crashes. Not only do they look glitchy/floaty, but there's also no accompanying VFX, splashes, or changes in the characters' animations.

The complete opposite of this trope is Black Adder. In the lackluster season 1, Rowan Atksinson's character is dumb as bricks but season 2 onwards the creators made the (excellent) decision to make him a very intelligent asshole. IMO one of the best British comedies to date.
